Couldn't agree more. However, the day I see people on here give praise when someone deserves it despite being s**t the rest of the season is the day I stop saying it. Gerrard wasn't at his best today but he certainly wasn't s**t like certain posters are claiming.

I don't give any player a free pass. I've battered and praised nearly every player in our squad at some point. I judge a player on the game they've played, not my opinion of them prior to kickoff

And I too judge players by their individual performance - but I think its silly not to look at their form too.
Gerrard was poor today, as he has been most of the season.
I think other players deserve a chance, and keeping Gerrard in leads to other players being pulled out of their natural position - square peg, round hole sort of thing.
Gerrard should come on for the last 30 mins behind a striker.
He should not be starting now.

I responded to what you put and it was both a freekick and a dive. We see both happen all the time because referees don't give the freekick unless a player hits the ground.

Gerrard wasn't the reason why we dropped points. But that doesn't mean he was amazing. He's been average for the past 5 years and i guarantee you that if his name was not Steve Gerrard, he would be getting more stick from fans and the media, who are still too blind to see his negative impact on this team.
This team has a lot of problems and he is one of them. Unfortunately, we are not going to progress until Skrtel, Lucas, Gerrard are injured because Rodgers doesn't have the balls to drop them.

He wasn't the worse player but he was average throught. Set peices were poor and of the 4 long range shots only 1 of them were half decent
Happy for Sakho as well - was afraid he would struggle after coming back from injury but he's slotted right in.
