if we go on to win the league or if we go on to win the FA Cup...or even if we go on to finish top 4...then no. Too many if's all round though. The only thing for sure is the here and now, and as it stands I'd rather be in our position than yours.
So beating Bournemouth is the climax of your season? dear god, we all know the dippers are dense, but your IQ must have a negative rating. Perhaps a visit to the dentist might be a good idea, see if he can pop a wisdom tooth in for you
i recall a lot of you saying that your 98-99 team was better than arsenals invincibles as you won 3 trophies and they won 1. by that logic surely if we win the league cup our season will be deemed more successful than yours, that is unless you win a trophy of course
Weve already won the champions cup. It earned us 20 times more than the winners of the league cup will receive. We also won the plate last season
Yes you won silverware, but if no top 4 finish its a bit lame as you only get into the Europa league for failed teams. So Its yes and no
Of course. Much like we had a more successful season than you did last year, as we won the Community Shield and you won the sum total of **** all. Glad we're reading from the same page
Wow you are a special case. PL + CL + FA > PL, as PL is a subset of the treble. No one in their right mind just counts trophies, well except you maybe. Oh wait, I said "in their right mind"...
Winning the treble is infinitely better than the "invincibles" You get no extra trophy for being undefeated. Would I rather win the PL undefeated or lose 2-3 league games, win the league anyway, aswell as the Champions League and Fa Cup..... Its not even a ****ing choice......
Our 98/99 team was far more invincible as well. We went undefeated in the CL and the FA Cup, lost four games overall, and had the longest unbeaten run in all competitions since Forest in 1979. Arsenal in 03/04 lost one in the FA Cup, twice in the League Cup, and three times in the Champions League, six games overall Invincible my arse
That could come to an end this year, and just like the "invincible" run, it could be United who ends it
