I'm surprised he hasn't gone but as is said above lose the next 2 and surely he's gone. I'm not one for getting rid of the manager usually but I just don't see this arrogant sod turning it around and every game he's in charge makes it more difficult for the new manager De Boer saying he would take over I'd go for that although he probably hasn't said it.

If we lose those two games, and lose them badly, that just might do it.

I think only Rodgers and Martinez could turn a loss into a good loss.

There is no such thing as a bad loss, it's still a loss. Will tonight be the end, can we see a Sheff U style loss?

The tactical genius is back in full flow, Sunday should be interesting.

Arsenal are a strange side and we could turn them over but get them on the wrong day and they are going to spank us to the level we did them last season.

didnt it end one league win each last season?

Our players were all knackered after 20 mins we were lucky they didn't come back at us.

I reckon you were safe @ 5-0 up like....

I was babbing it as I had both teams to score, that Arteta penalty was celebrated in my house :)

Martinez must surely be under pressure. Will the crowd turn on him as fans on here have?

He is under pressure and the crowd have already shown their displeasure.

I don't think anyone is calling for his head, but equally it's incredibly unhealthy if the manager is somehow viewed as being beyond any form of criticism, he's made mistakes this season and he doesn't seem to be learning from them. It was this intransigence that I saw in him at Wigan, and was the reason I just wasn't having him before he arrived.

We are doomed! Unless Martinez says one thing in the modeia and puts a rocket up the players arses away from the press?

Moyes had his mindset and people praised him for it, it got him the biggest job in the land FFS. Every player he has managed talked of the ability of the man, others tipping him for the "Biggest Jobs"
