Best defender at the club in terms of tackling. Going quick crisp forward passing, composed under pressure with the ball. Guy is our best RB by far

3. Great tackler, full of desire, heart, passion, fight, etc and loves the club.

Don't agree on positioning at all. His passing is of acceptable standard. He's not great in the air granted but at least he tries to win a header unlike a few of our players.

You just hate scousers :)

If Flannagan was at another club and we signed him now to be our first choice RB, there would be outrage. That's all I'm saying.

Not a great tackler. He goes in hard, but he's not a great tackler.

And i don't care about passion etc etc - such an overrated quality. Give me a player who can actually play football rather than someone who just wants to scream and shout to gee up the fans.

Sir Red calls it - if he wasn't a local lad, and he was a player we bought, we'd be p*ssed off.

Manquillo is already twice the player Flanno is and is younger.

Flannagan will be a Championship player inside 2 years.

6. He never misses a tackle. Never! With the aggression he puts in, he'd be sent off if he missed!!!

Haha let's not get into this again!!

In the transfer window - I think GK, RCB and DM are the priority positions.

8. I'd say a striker is needed more than any of those. We need to start scoring goals

Anderson is free this summer guys. He doesnt score many though but he will cheer up your club.

No coincidence now hes back not playing at united, were a happy club.

Cleverley too. He could replace gerrard in his role as useless.

If we play like we did against United, goals will come. I'm certain of it. Plus Sturridge will be back. That's not to say I don't want a striker to come in - I just feel there are bigger priorities.

However. regardless of how the team is set up, we will continue to concede. It's actually a joke watching the defence and it's a bigger joke considering we have some players who can help improve the defence who simply are being used. Creating a solid base/foundation is key to 95% of successful, title winning teams.

11. We can't rely on Sturridge. Great if he's back but we need to plan as though he won't be.

This January (in an ideal world)...

IN:

FW
GK
DM
CB

OUT:

Balotelli
ONE OF Toure / Skrtel / Lovren / Coates / Sakho / Ilori
Borini
ONE OF Lucas / Allen

RESTRUCTURING:

• Mignolet to be back-up / developing young keeper to new experienced No 1 who has a more all round game, better distribution, who is vocal and possesses organisational skills.

• New CB to replace one of current line up who has genuine command of the back line, good positional awareness, aerial strength and is good with ball at feet / distribution.

• Buy a consistent, scoring FW with good movement and touch to replace Balotelli.

• Bring in a new, established DM/CM who is destructive, strong and composed on and off the ball to replace Lucas / Allen.

Now. Do the hokey cokey and turn yourself around. Team needs leaders and generals. Got to find them and do it now.

Just spoken to my mate. The main problem with transfers is:

Ian Ayre a problem? Who'd have thought it? ...

Who would I sell in January (providing we have replacements):

Skrtel
Lovren
Johnson
Enrique
Lucas
Gerrard
Borini

16. No Flanno...? <yikes>

PS...pretty confident I could have predicted your list ;)

Was gonna put Gerrard down as well but think his dead ball skill and passing are still assets and we lack those without him, so keep for now and clear out Lucas/Allen. Sell the big G in the summer when hopefully we've recovered and his price can be at a premium and we can bring in genuine alternatives (NB. Not replacements)

In what way? Negotiating? Picking players? Sanctioning too much money?
