I'm lost on these forums, would someone care too explain all this rep power stuff and also how too access it. I just come on here for the football craic but I would like too know how the site works!

Just another number i think.. For what i don't know.
 
when you read a comment you can give positive or negative rep and that adds or sumtracts points from users reputation. Its the star next ti ip at bottom of comment box.

To see your rep hover your mouse between profile and log out at top of page, a hand appears, click and it takes you to your rep page

But what about this Rep Power, seems to go from 0-10..

so if you give someone rep you get 2 points for it, but if you recieve rep you only get 1, seems a bit daft to me and no wonder some boards go crazy over it.
 
Wouldnt know mate, appart from being in negative equity, all the time, must try harder, but then again, my mates and family like me, so **** the rep ****. happy as I am .and happier I dare say without it. now if it was quids n stuff, even biscuits????????????
 
Just found the comments on my rep and I have to say what a waste of time. Two positive comments anfd one negative which was just abuse for no reason, no name and no complaint just abuse, so unless there is a right of reply and the person leaving a negative comment has to leave their site name I say bin the system.

underneath the last post you can find, quick navigation, with sunderland next to it.

click on sunderland, then settings.
 
Cheers chaps. I see that I have had some more negative rep, all anonymous as usual, with some pretty scummy abuse. The sooner they prevent people doing this without giving their name the better.

This is exactly why I started the vote on whether rep needs to be sorted. I had some neg rep today signed by Bartons Tash, but I know he's called 'Heavy Metal Toon' now, so it wasn't him. Just another flaw in the system, if you can leave someone elses username to take the rap.

Seems strange to use someone else's name.
