whats this rep power ?

mine is -17 but i deserve it as because i tell the mags the truth and they are the only ones interested in rep poor sods

so to cut a long story short rep is only to keep the mags happy :emoticon-0100-smile

I think it is time I started winding the Mags up again to regain some honour..<laugh>
 
sorry boys but all this seems much ado about nothing to me. Rep and tags dont bother me one bit, they can say what they like when they like, I have no intrest so never read them, problem solved
 
you have a rep power of 10 so you will say that lol

problem is with anything like this, it will and does get abused, like i said you get 2 points for giving someone neg rep as well as positive, so as soon as we go on the toon board, doesnt matter what we say or do, we will get negged rep from someone. But if they come to our board and get neg repped (which they do as well) they go running back to their board, make a joke about it, but really they just want more positive rep from their fans, even though the post they done doesnt deserve any. and as they get 2 points for giving rep, they get loads, its a total false economy.

I am also not saying this happens as i havnt seen it on here, seen it plenty on other forums though, newbie posts a question, someone with 1 rep answers, someone with 6 rep answers with the same answer, the one with the 6 rep gets thanked and repped and the poor sucker who was first, gets sod all lol

I couldn't give a toss about the points system: but I don't like the idea of someone being able to leave you abusive comments without leaving a username; that is just plain wrong.
 
I have already said that previously, didnt want to sound like i was repeating myself so brought up a different slant on it.
 
Looks like Barton's Tash has been going the rounds cos i got a little gift from him as well. All I can say is thank you.

I've hovered but no hand appeared and I still can't get in.
 
I lost 3 rep points for posting in that earlier thread about whether we should do away with rep points. All I can say to the guys who did it is 'Thanks guys, my faith in human nature has been restored once again'.

I haven't checked today so maybe I've lost even more.
