The connection was David Graham, the voice of Parker and, very well known to any parent or grandparent of small children, the voice of Grandpa Pig.
I was listening to a radio play the other day from 1977 and I clearly recognised one character as the voice of Parker. I looked him up (to see if he was still alive) and was amazed that he is 89 and still working! He started Grandpa Pig when he was 79!
