  1. Premier League

  2. Champions League

  3. FA Cup

  4. League Cup

  5. As much as Everton and Spurs!

Blind and Herrara will both be great players if these injuries go away. Carrick is reaching the end of his career so I wouldn't consider him.

    ------Blind-----Herrara
    Di Maria--Mata--new winger/Rooney

    Good midfield tbh.

The stats support your claim. We have a midfield that can now control the game. You can see it on the pitch, they just dont lose the ball and on the rare occasion they do, they get it back quickly.

Obviously when we have to play the likes of carrick and blind in defence we lose something but when everyone is available its going to be tough for a team to string 2 passes together.

We bettered chelseas midfield. Has anyone found fabregas yet.

We bettered citys before the red. The commentators seemed annoyed at it too.

Arsenal was an example of how we can counter so the midfield didnt really shine. The selection was at fault for that. We dont need to out pass arsenal as they do all tge hard work for us.

There's no midfield about that scares me anymore. Not likein years gone by when weve fielded some awful midfields against the likea of barcelona and bayern <laugh>

The hashtagmelt isn't programmed to say anything positive about anything to do with Liverpool's rivals or indeed anything negative about Liverpool. It's why he has to devote the majority of his life to constructing charts to "support" his nonsensical mutterings and also why he's considered an ignorant **** by all but the most ardent of his disciples (shame on them for looking up to an idiot).

Brilliant. How many league goals have this world class attack managed between them? More or less than Charlie Austin?

Yeh at the moment that's all it is. I am weary of playing one up front though. Thoughts on a diamond (but still with a back 4). Btw Carrick has suffered from playing with ****e next to hime over the last 3 seasons. With Herrera and Mata around him I think he could hit some form for about a season or so at least.

But is there as much depth in that Saints midfield? Arsenal? ...Wilshere, Ramsay, Ozil, Cazorla, Arteta, Oxlade...hmm yeh fair enough.

See carricks stats v hull. Put him witg similar quality players and he reminds you how good he is. Hes single handedly carried our midfield for years so about timw he got some help.

Arsenal do, not sure about saints.

The second and gives away that saints were an after thought though. It got tough after chelsea.

I think its second best at worst but im biased and clearly dont appreciate ****, bone idle, cake wating knobheads waltzing around like mother g's.

City and Chelsea have far superior midfields to you.
Arsenal's is pretty good too when they are all fully fit.

And you should have a midfield in the top 5 in the Prem because you spent £60m on Di Maria, £30m on Mata, £16m on Blind, £25m on Herrera, £27m on Fellaini and £18m on Carrick.

For £175m I could form a pretty decent midfield...

Chelsea - Matic, Willian, Oscar, Fabregas, Hazard, Mikel
City - Toure, Silva, Nasri, Fernando, Fernandinho, Navas, Milner, Nastasic

Greater depth possibly, but pick any 5 for a game and I wouldn't say they're far superior.

How dare you, £37m for Mata I'll have you know. We always pay full wack!

    Nastasic is a CB

    Matic Fabregas
    Hazard Oscar Schurlle

    Fernandinho Toure
    Navas Silva Nasri

    Carrick Blind
    Di Maria Fellaini Mata
I'd take both of those over yours <ok>

    £37m? <laugh> Fair enough...
Could make a decent midfield from £180+ mil then.
