I like Baseball but American Football just goes on forever. Too much stop start like Rugby League......and West Ham

Rugby league - stop start!? Its one of the most intensive, non-stop sports on the planet. Even at handovers etc. if the opposition haven't backed off 10 metres in a micro-second they are penalised.

Yeah, that baffled me too. Rugby Union is more stop start than Rugby League but I don't consider either to be stop start.

Don't watch it a lot (just a few international games on TV), but I like the speed of Rugby League...none of those pauses for scrums (where players are penalised for various infringements....unfathomable to the casual observer).

Its pass the ball once, tackled, get up pass the ball once repeat another 3 times...kick it..........your turn.

Bores me to tears.

Well, not exactly, but if you don't like it…..fair enough. I'm not the greatest fan of synchronised swimming.

It's like the difference between rts games and tbs games. They are both good, but in very different ways. American football is almost like a game of chess. The halftime is only 10 mins, and the break between quarters is quite short too. Changing teams doesn't take too long and at matches, there is music during pauses and cheerleading performances or drumline performances, or the mmascot doing crazy things or videos so they are quite entertaining, though obviously you won't get that on tv

Apart from the Superbowl of course.

Miles better than rugby Union... miles.

or pauses while the ball sits under 20 players; it then pops out and someone picks it up and jumps back into the ruck of players the ball just came out of ...
