...showed again last night how irresponsible he still is, completely needless challenge for his yellow card and hence ban for Sunday. He might regret it even more if Rodwell comes in and shows him how to tackle and pass against Everton!
Astonishes me personally that some people genuinely think he could play for England, yet here we are 10 games into a season and once again he is out suspended. No doubt it is "all the ref's fault" etc and he is just that one player in the league referees have decided to pick on, but he is a liability, period.
What a ****ing moronic comment. Jack Wilshere has already served a ban for 5 yellows, as has Callum Chambers. Are they liabilities? He's a ball-winning midfielder, he's going to pick up yellows. He's been a little off the pace in the last month, since people started talking about England. He is more than capable and has represented eng at every age group except senior team. One reason England never win anything is the lack of a defensive midfielder who can hold that position while full backs attack. Recall the Barry abomination v Getmany 2010.
Aye true Vince but this probably one of the reasons why he is overlooked for selection to the England squad.

Okay, calm down lol. Callum Chambers is average at best and Jack Wilshere has other top quality attributes that negate the effect of his ill-discipline, Cattermole does not.......IMO.
Statistics are the most unreliable thing in football, apart from Newcastle United. Number of fouls has very little correlation to cards, as I'm sure you know fine well.
Spot on mate. Again, blatant press lead comments from a commentor who hasn't watched the lad. Even commentators have a go as soon as he makes a challenge, **** sticks. There are many players in the league a million times worse than Catts but he has the stigma. **** England anyway, I see Arsenal have the 'new Jack Wilshere'. ****ing hell man they are making 'new' ****, overated players now. I'd have Catts over pretty much any England midfielder, simple as that.
It astonishes me that people who don't watch him play, feel they know enough about him to make such a judgement
Typical Sunderland comment there, tell me this were you one of the lads in uproar when a MOTD pundit correctly pulled up Lee "never say die" Cattermole for strolling around the pitch and letting Southampton score? Some mackems will pull out any excuse in the book to defend that bloke. EDIT: nice of you to change the phrase "f**ing idiot" to "commentor" just so you come across as a little less of a t**t
