ONLY reason Gerrard is still playing is because he could ping 40yrd passes..and he's not even getting that right.
Only took Johnson 4 minutes to give the ball away. He's getting better
How he's getting in the team every week is beyond me!!

Formation seems a bit odd.
without the ball Coutinho seems to be playing right up top with Balotelli and Johnson is playing normal RB but with the ball he seems to be going back into CB and not pushing forward.

Johnson really not pushing forward. our throw in in their corner and he doesn't go up, instead Sterling taking (and should be a foul throw) but instead being offside anyway

Passing and first touch has been so sloppy so far.
Johnson beaten so easily by Ameobi. He just jogs past him and puts in a dangerous cross.
Henderson then giving it away on the break, he's been poor so far.

Obertan managed to pull his thigh muscle while running... strange one a normally it's the hamstrings.
Absolutely nothing in attack - no creativity, no fluidity. Just nothing.
Playing so many pointless long balls, and conversely, we have too many players who just don't want to get on the ball or turn on it, or bring it forward.
