Good result last night, should lift the squad for this weekends match. Hull is a tough place to go, and they've picked up some good results in the last few weeks. My team (if all fit): Forster, Clyne, Fonte, Alderweireld, Bertrand, Wanyama, Schneiderlin, Davis, Mane, Tadic, Pelle.
We will be lucky if no one is injured...Davis got a nasty kick for one. Bruises and swelling may be appearing today.
I will be more realistic this week. 1-4 to Saints. McQueen (4) Hull's winner coming as a Forster clearance bounces of Gaston's head while he is sat on the bench, looping over the keeper and the referee nor officials not noticing that the ball went out of play let alone hit someone who was not involved in the game. The referee and fourth official will get injured in training and end up being replaced by Alan Wiley who just happened to be in the crowd on the day and also just happened to have forgotten his contact lenses like he did on 30th January 1999. This freak decision will simultaneously set off an automatic reaction in Neil Warnock's brain even though he is miles away in his house where he does his famous glasses gesture whilst watching a dodgy pixelated stream on his 10 year old Toshiba laptop: please log in to view this image

So enjoying the good facilities at St Georges with Mane only doubt for Saturday. He thinks Saints are below everyone's radar, but he looks at all the other teams and doesn't think many are better than us . Now has to look at Hull, because up till today he was concentrating on the Stoke game. Tells our players to defend against other players but not to grapple in the box. Doesn't think you can ban it all, because there would be 10 penalties a game.
Koeman says that the target at the start of the season was to play 'offensive football' After watching last night's game, I fear Stoke had the same target but some players misunderstood the word offensive....
Said Long was a great lad, but was having to adapt to a new position. Said he was probably happier yesterday playing just behind Graziano.
'I don't think a lot of teams are better than Southampton' Go Ron, the confidence is cursing through his veins.
I think Hull will win 5-0, then have the victory chalked off for illegally fielding Gastón Ramirez, with the FA awarding Saints a deserved 3-0 win.
A sell out...Nice one....Should be a decent atmosphere then...For those who know the KC you're no longer in the north end with the aways now been placed into the North-east corner...with City on either side...Makes for some cracking banter...Enjoy, but not that much.!
