One of my son's lives in the North East and the people up there are cracking, you on the other hand seem a bit miserable. I've supported Liverpool longer than you've supported Newcastle and in my experience the Newkie fans are great, what happened to you?

Have you watched Newcastle lately??? <laugh>

Really says it all, not really prepared to argue,
All of the top managers have tried to protect their top players throughout history. To fight against advancing science is bonkers. Not one of us on here is in a position to argue with this guy - Tbf i used still ( and still do ) like Roy - he was never right for us imho but this latest debacle shows him to be worried about his job at best or a petulant child at worst

I've been going since 72, been to Anfield loads of times, always had good craic with your fans. Favourite time was 83 Friday night FA cup. There was about 12k black and whites down. Liverpool won 4-0. Been miserable ever since. <ok>

Oh .... knew there must be a reason <whistle> We've always got on great as far as my experience has been, love going up to St James's.

The kopite baloney bandwagon rolls on....

How can you have 2-3 days rest when the International schedule is for games on a Thurs / Sunday? or Fri / Mon like last time?

They had to have a training session on the 2nd day otherwise they'd have been going into the 2nd game without having done a stitch on the training ground post the first game.

I assume when you lot have a CL game on a Tues after a PL game on the Sat, that Rodgers doesn't have his 'quick players' doing anything between games then???? Absolute horse s**t

Well we dont know what type of training it was that Sterling was asked to do by hodgeson on the second day but we do know what Sturridge was asked to do. Sturridge played in a full 90 minute 11 aside match during training and was then sake to do long length sprints finished with shots, which is when he broke down...

What's tactical about that Tobes? What's necessary about repetitive sprinting and shooting practice of your first choice striker who was second top goal scorer the year before....afraid he'd forgotten how to strike the ball maybe????

I agree that he has to work on tactical training, set pieces etc etc...and I do sympathise at the limited time available to him which is why I think all qualifying should be done during the summer in a four week window...better for players and national coaches. But he's decided that he knows these players better than their clubs which is plain ludicrous. We've learned our lessons as a club with the likes of Fowler and Owen. Why should we then send them to an old fashioned butcher to have them fecked up anyway.....

But you've just attributed "kopite baloney" to a specialist in his field.....by all means scan us your Sports science qualifications Tobes and list the years you spent doing the job at Barcelona etc...then you might be given as much credence as this guy and BR....until then you're lumped in with the owl :D
