Also true, All these players of the past smoked 20 a day and ate a full English at the local greasy spoon before going to training. These players wouldn't last 5 minutes by todays fitness standards, they would get the Luke Shaw treatment.
Roy is an inept, incompetent, raging buffoon - the man has zero qualities as a football manager. Hanging Sterling out to dry just shows you he is incapable of managing players. Tensions between Liverpool and England will continue rise IMO - I hope Rodgers did put pressure on Raheem to pull out because it shows that the club will not take this sh*t anymore. We already lost Sturridge due to Roy's training sessions even though we gave them detailed plans on how LFC players should be treated. God only knows how he managed to get the England job, but that in itself shows you the level of incompetence currently in the FA. Agree that players should develop together through the youth teams i.e. u18, u21 etc. Let these players play together, develop a relationship which they can bring to the first team once they're old enough.
Hodgson didn't hang little Raheem 'out to dry'....the player went to the manager....presumably speaking the words dictated to him through a rather large pair of new white teeth
It is a sad state of affairs as it looks like Woy is putting pressure on a 19 year old by muttering to the media. You would think England were away playing Germany not Estonia. Anyone watching Raheem this season can tell he is not right from a physical and mental perspective. He is no longer controlling the ball well and you can tell some of his composure is lost. The way we play as Liverpool is demanding on the very fast players and considering the amount of football he has played this year, better management of the young lad will ensure he reaches his full potential. I also think this was a tact by Hodgson intimating it had more to do with Liverpool/player and thus masking the fact that England struggled against some minnows. All attention will now shift to both Raheem and Rodgers.
Impossible. He doesn't know who his dad is....his prostitute mother only knew he was ugly, pale and ginger with a tiny penis and an extremely small set of balls!!
Of course not, he didn't speak to the media about something a player said to him in private. Then of course he didn't use this private conversation to explain why England only beat 10 man Estonia 1-0. Then in no way did he heap all the pressure on a 19yr old lad and basically use the line "Don't blame me, it wasn't my fault." Anyway; way from the wumming moron. Rest Sterling was the right decision, he was poor against San Marino and has been dipping in form for the past few games, he's played every minute (including 120 in the LC) since Villa, even at 19 thats alot of football. The reason were awful was that the 'World Class' players did **** all except be ****, probably down how poor the tactics and motivation were done.
would explain why fifa are so reluctant to give us another world cup as they go out their way to make sure the host nation get far in it, look at brazil last world cup ****e, look at south korea, they wasn't great yet made the semis i think. also back in the day i doubt the players was playing in as many tournaments as they do nowdays either.
Against other international teams who also smoke 20 a day and ate fry ups before training. Put the 66 England team in one of the next World cup qualifier groups, and I doubt they'd even get a single win.
So all the focus is on a 19 year old who didn't play 64 mins of a game, despite playing most games over the past 9 months for club and country? Instead, we should be talking about the sh*t performance, Rooney regression, incompetent manager.
Hodgson is only flapping his gob because England played **** against the mighty Estonia and he got shown up as a clown shoes with the whole Rooney substitute thing. So he is trying to deflect peoples attention elsewhere.
One of the best young talents England have had in years and what should have been kept private, good'ole Roy decides to make public and through him under a bus! Then has the gall to tell us how we should manage our own players, after crocking our main striker last time.. He's a complete and utter clown, inept, incompetent and in the wrong job for us England fans! If I was Rodgers I'd def. have another pop at the fool, and in a not so indirect fashion!
