One of my mates reckons Gerry's a Mason, which would explain a lot if you ask me.
He's a ****ing rat of a human being that bloke, scurries away and claims 'abuse' or 'trolling' whenever anybody points the finger at him, smells fishier than a trip to Grimsby docks.
They're the number one suspects and yet to this day they're the only suspects not to have been interrogated, which sums up everything.

It's funny how hypocritical people are.
No one worries if 'the bad guys' are accused of heinous acts but if a couple of middle class doctors are suspected there's hell on.
The suspected '*****phile', Murat, was pilloried by the media, public, etc because he was an expat and a bit of a loner.
He won half a million quid damages after over 100 defamatory stories were written about him.
But mention that the McCanns were possibly responsible and you're accused of being a heartless monster.
I've brought it up several times over the years mate, at dinner for example and I've got 6/7 screaming family members all telling me I'm wrong and I'm sick to think they are responsible.
They all soon shut up though, as soon as you start reeling off a list of reasons why you think it's them, nobody can argue this.
I bet if there was a petition started to get them interrogated it would get to 90-odd thousand signatures then it would miraculously disappear.
They've put their foot in uncountable times mate, they done it, absolutely nailed on certainty but for some reason as you say in the OP, they've been given an escape route.

There a list of 48 questions they wouldn't answer (I've tried to c & p but the iPads not having it.) Surely to God if they had nothing to hide they would have answered them. The whole affair stinks to high heaven. I've been a frequent visitor to Luz before and after the event. The whole town has dark cloud hanging over it still.
I don't know much about the details of the case. Was there zero forensic evidence in in the hotel room? No sign of forced entry? Did they leave the place completely open?
It never made any sense to me. It was a quite remote resort no? If a *****phile or someone elses planned to take her..they must have hung around before and waited for the right moment.
All's I know is, in civilised, relatively safe countries, murderers and victims, usually know each other, or are related.
If the parents did do it... or it was some kind of accident...why on earth wouldn't they just shut up about it though, and go on living? Honestly, after 7 years...if it was my child, even if i believed she was out there ... i'd frigging get on with my life. They have other children too, don't they?

We've had them listed on another thread about Madeleine before mate yeah, some of the questions she dodged were unbelievable and could serve as a hindrance by ignoring them.
If this was a murder investigation, then there would be enough evidence to at least take Gerry to court on trial for murder, but it's not, they're getting away with it because it's still being treated as a missing person case.
It wouldn't surprise me one bit if one of the two McCann parents kills themselves and the media will blame the trolls.

Everyone pints the finger at the McCann's and there's plenty of evidence to say that is fair..However they could easily have shut up by now and no one would say it is proof of their guilt...
I don't think they could have mate, plenty of people refuse to let this get brushed under the carpet... I'd suspect that's exactly what G&K were hoping would happen and it's backfired. They've never once looked even remotely remorseful to me.
They have other children though. If they'd say, 3 years after she disappeared, come out and said something like "We still hope for Madeleine's safe return but we now owe it to the children we still have to get on with our lives" I think 99% of people would have said yeah, fair enough. This relentless campaigning just seems to much to be faked to me..
I could never understand, as a mother, why when Kate first discovered that Maddie was missing, did she assume she had been taken. I think most parents who discovered that their young child was missing who panic & rush to check the swimming pool.

I think you're giving them the benefit of the doubt here to be honest. I'm not saying they meant to kill her, but they've wormed their way out of being interrogated and being made suspects, now they're in too deep to get out of it and they have to go along with everything. If by 'campaigning' you mean these stupid public appearances and books they do, I think that's all about money. They have no remorse whatsoever, what kind of parents don't answer questions that could help find their kid?
I wholeheartedly agree with Katie Hopkins, these people need to be made accountable for their negligence if nothing else, any working class mother would have had their other children taken from them by social services under the same circumstances.
It was made this year mate watch it if you can its enlightening to say the least -for me the stark tv interviews (Freudian slips) and their body language gives the game away
I find it easy to believe that they were responsible for her death, but a lot harder to believe they are so heartless they are now using it to make money.
Gerry seems dodgy to me but every time I see Kate she looks a genuinely broken woman. Could it be possible he knows what happened and she doesn't...?
That 48 questions thing I'm sure was one interrogation when their lawyer told them not to answer anything because he felt the police were trying to frame them at that time. They've answered plenty of questions since then.
As for the negligence, I agree what they did was terrible, but if they are innocent, then they are suffering enough at the minute without the vitriol that gets poured by these internet trolls.
