Sturridge is another Defoe, with all that it entails. Scores goals, puts in the work and will happily run in behind all day, but he won't hold the ball up much or win aerial duels. Well worth what Liverpool paid for him and he'll pair up well with Balotelli, but neither is well suited to the lone role. Lambert and Borini give them plenty of options, but I don't think that any of them are a Suarez or a Costa.
