I'll chuck this one in anarl ........ he'll say 'it's water off a duck's back' after the match then go crying to the press saying it's really really not fair.
Ahh I've heard that one enough times. As well as "All I can do is be professional and do my job to the best of my ability" and "I'm fighting for it, we're all fighting for it".
He started that after the Palace game, we drew 3-3, scored in the 80 something minute and conceded at the death. He came out and blamed the fans for screaming for a fourth rather than shutting up shop...then every game since he has criticised us for having a negative affect with our whinging...damned if you do...
That was shocking mate. 11 highly paid professional players attack in the 94th minute because the crowd were cheering what they thought would be the 1st win. But it's the supporters who should hang their heads in shame
It's funny isn't it because when the fans were screaming for a fourth against Arsenal in that 4-4 they went and got it, and he thanked the fans for their support on that day! Only scream for a fourth when it suits Pardew, that's the lesson to be learned here.
I know of not one set of fans that doesn't continue to urge their team to attack, whether the score is 3-2, 4-2, 5-2 or anything else. To suggest that on this one occassion that is what made the team concede a late goal...ludicrous. What's even worse is that their goal came directly from a set piece for which we had every single player back inside the box. It just beggars belief.
Coming from Roy Keane I don't think any of us will have too much trouble letting that dig slide by...
If your team is attacking you don't boo ......... that's rule number 3 in the official supporters handbook. Rule number 1 is, local born players are **** because they're here. Rule number 2 is, local born players are **** because they left.
Ah yes, us deluded jawdees who think we have a right to Champions League football and challenging for titles year in year out because we get 50k fans in haha. Have a pleasant evening lads.
Aye, don't think the opinion of a man who won everything and who lynchpinned one of the finest club sides this country has ever seen carries any weight like....
He's steadily eroding his credibility though ......... which really does take some doing. He may well end up as a 'Keegan' or 'Hoddle' style joke figure, impossible to have imagined when you look at their careers tbh.
True enough mate, I have to say though look at Villa, they seem to have a spine and some direction since he went there, Lambert I've always thought knows how to set up a team but not a stand out manager. Keane seems to have helped him get a balance.
****ing solid player, in every way, unorthodox, iron fist, demanding, incredible on the pitch, **** manager at the top but could do well in lower leagues. Victim of his own passion. Never in it to make friends. Says it how it is. Am I talking about Keane or Di Canio? Uncanny innit.
In my humble opinion Keane has been the most dedicated, effective, dominant leader and midfielder the premiership has seen
Hitler was all of the above but it doesn't stop him going down in the history books as an utter ****.
