I think people forget that you agree with most of their points but you try to remain positive. Personally i'd rather not moan about it too much and hope that we make a change come next summer. It would have been a perfect end for Wenger after the FA cup but it looks like this one may drag on longer. As for Klopp, this would have been my favourite choice, but whether that is feasible is another matter. We would need a David Dein type character to really try and get him. Arsenal as a club is a very desirable destination for any top manager. All the resources available, a top squad, money available, a good salary and a very supportive and patient board/fans.
Klopp has to be the one to target. He could get paid double what he does now, manage one of the wealthiest teams in the world (under the new FFP), start with a squad already containing some top class players, work in a (relatively) brand new 60k stadium and live in possibly one of the greatest cities in the world. Let's face it, it's not as if there'd be pressure on him like there was Moyes... it's not like he'd be taking over a club where the fans are used to titles every season.

Klopp, de Boer, Garde - plenty of quality there. Surely one could be brought in to work with THE best positioned club in the premiership in terms of income, debt, marketing etc.
Life moves on as will Arsenal move on after Wenger. His purpose is done with us, he managed to make Arsenal a very powerful European club now, not only financially but through reputation. But his time is over, it's been over for a few years now. As many have said, including me, he should have moved upstairs and let someone else take over. I will keep on supporting him as he remains our manager, but i'd rather he leaves on his own than be pushed by the fans. He deserves more than that.
If he had gone a few years ago I think there is every chance we would have fallen from the CL and not yet been at the financial point to buy the top players we currently are able to. His purpose with the club definitely hasn't been up for a few years. People need to look at the bigger picture.
But we were financially strong a few years back too, despite the Highbury flat sales. Some may say that we were over cautious but all the work was largely done in the first 5-7 years that we had a very strong foundation to move on earlier, thanks to Wenger again. I am looking at the bigger picture and Wenger for me has served his purpose for us. We are a financially strong and desirable club, that can attract a whole host of managers. We would not struggle to get a top manager in my opinion.
No, we've only just hit the point of financial security with the new financial deals in place, fresh sponsorship and kit deals have seen us move into a position where we have far more disposable cash for transfers. And they have only been in place over the last couple of seasons.
We could not have bought an ozil or Sanchez 2-4 years ago. The ozil signing showed the turning point in the clubs finances from a club that had to sell star players to a club who could buy them.
And while I agree that arsenal are in a great position to attract a top manager, I don't think it will happen until after wengers current contract.
But can you honestly say with the two world class players he's bought have made us look significantly better? I'm not saying we won't be better with better players, but you need to know how to use them in the right system and have the right blend of players. It's too early in the season to judge but I feel that the same problems are resurfacing now than in previous years. We should be doing better in my opinion, we have a damn fine team and we should be challenging top teams like Chelsea a lot closer.
But I agree, no point in moaning about Wenger as he'll be in for a few more years.

Why would seeing things in a realistic light - ie seeing the positives and negatives, be sitting on the fence?
That sums up the problem really. The idea that you have to be either totally positive or totally negative.
I was trying to lighten the mood with a joke. It clearly didn't work.

No, before you get angry at me again - it's not because I agree with anything - I don't think I've ever stated that because I believe something then it's right.
It's realistic because no situation in life is black or white, totally negative or totally positive - therefore considering both the negative and positive in a situation is usually going to be more accurate than just saying "It's all terrible, the team is S***" ect.
PS I'm not saying anyone has said the above quote, I'm just using it to emphasis a point.
