Just put us into administration and let's drop down to League 2 like Pompey and start again. We'll always a have a ground because the council, wisely, kept hold of the ground for future generations. I love away days at the lower league grounds.

Since when have we ever been called Hull City Tigers?

Hull City AFC in League 2 is nothing to be afraid of.

So Mr Allam , dont throw money at the problem .

    Cut your cloth accordingly .

If the deal was there was no money to buy Hernandez say - though the Maguire deal may well be sufficient to cover supposed losses from a sponsor ,

then give us that deal , dont spend the extra money , dont change the name and dont sell the club

    Its so simple ,

The value of his investment is entirely dependant on retaining Premier League status and he's not going to risk losing it, forget the nonsense about giving the club away, he's no intention of losing money.

What does the Barmy One mean with this: "You will never make it if your name is Hull City Association Football Club Tigers Ltd. You will never make it"?

Now we want to shorten the name to go global - like Coca-Cola, like Twitter, like Google. You will never make it if your name is Hull City Association Football Club Tigers Ltd. You will never make it."

Of all the statements confirming he has lost a grip on reality, this is the best yet. So, it seems that after 48 years of chanting 'Come on Hull City Association Football Club Tigers Ltd' I haven't been chanting the right thing.
Oh, and thanks for grabbing the headlines again just before a crucial match.

He means what he has always ... He has been talking about shortening the name but he has always been talking about the name registered with company's house which was Hull City Association Football Club Tigers Ltd .... Even though the name change will also be with the FA he actually only talks about the companys house name hence while people are confused when he says HULL TIGERS will be shorter then HULL CITY.. i dont know if he does this on purpose or because he just does not understand... Thats why he always says we had tigers in our name when he took over.It does not change the fact the playing name will change but from day one he has only ever been talking about Hull City Association Football Club Tigers Ltd

But he doesnt need the FA's permission to change the name at companys house. Either he's confused or the rest of the world is

He's a senile attention seeker. His comedy timing, making rambling statement always before big games, is only intended to get the limelight. He doesn't give a **** about Hull City. All he cares about is his name and ego. Allam out.

First he told the FA he'd sell within 24 hours if the name change didn't go through. When it didn't he's telling them the club's up for sale and he'll not buy any players. I can imagine them saying, so what? Especially as the arbitration, not an appeal, will only look at whether the FA acted within its rules and within English law.

Finally the financial fair play rules was aimed at stopping club owners lending their clubs millions of pounds to buy players, unless they were making profits. Its suggested we made a profit last season, but will we make one this season.

    He's lying again!!!

My take, on the bit I've seen of the interview, is, and this is only my take, I'm no international , multinational businessman, so please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

    Put simply.

The way I see it is, the Premier League is the global brand, while we're competing in, it we're part of it, the more successful we are, the more recognition we get. Simples.

Question, if I repeat a statement, no matter how untrue it is, enough times, will it become the truth?

That's why he has threatened repeatedly to move the club 10 miles away from its community.

The day we got promoted I said the best thing we could do with the money was pay him off every penny he had invested up to that point and nothing has made me change my mind. The sad thing is now we cant even afford to do that.

And will somebody, anybody, please tell him our name IS NOT f**ING HULL CITY TIGERS. I wonder if City fan Damian Johnson did this? if so why didnt he say something: "erm, Mr allam - you do know that Hull City Tigers has never been the club's name?"

We haven't heard the interview yet, but I just hope some interviewer questions his statements. He has said again that the lost of this extra £1m a year sponsorship was because they didn't get the name change. Firstly that was after Ehab had said there was no such sponsor in the pipeline. Secondly why doesn't someone just say, well with all due respect if you finish an extra place or two up the division this can make the club more revenue than this extra sponsorship revenue.
