I see you are calling me a liar again.

The other tweets you quote are all about the flask and all posted around the date of the announcement. All re-produced in a nice line. How do you know that the other tweets were not jokes as well? You don't. You don't even know whether and how he uses expletives in his personal e-mails.

One joke in poor taste (in my opinion) and it means the whole of CTWD is anti-Allam. After months of campaigning and that is the best you can come up with. Its pathetic.

I asked how often you used language like that on here but you haven't answered yet. I'm still waiting.

Your feigned ignorance of the difference between an anonymous Hull City forum and a public group neither interests nor concerns me.

I, along with I'm sure many others, don't agree with those posters either Obi, however those people are much less significant than someone who is supposed to be leading a group, he is supposed to to reflect the purported morals and ethics of the group that he's leading, do you think that this act displays that? In my opinion Gretton should step down from his role!

I think it was a joke in poor taste. I think the contribution Mark makes to CTWD far outweighs one error of judgement. Two or three errors of judgement might indicate a trend but I believe in letting people learn from what they've done and giving them time to think about whether it was such a clever thing to do.

There is a long history of anti Allam posts from certain posters since the day he took over, not just on this board but on others as well. Some of these people may or may not be leading lights of CTWD, but anti Allam sentiment has been here as long as he has himself. CTWD can claim not to be an anti Allam group as much as it likes and people can choose to believe that or not.

let's put it this way really, if that guy really wanted the Allams to stay and had respect for them for saving the club at least, you'd be an absolute cretin to post this on social media and risk having to justify it.

So either he is a cretin, which then makes me wonder why he is the leader.

Or he isn't a cretin and those words actually reflect his views as he has no problem publishing them online and calling them "beautiful".

DOn't you think the Allams contribution to the club (should I list them?) far outweigh one error of judgement in regards to the name?

Single issue group? update us all someone if you would. Aren't you forming a supporters trust to work with the next owner when this one has had enough of being a football club owner.

You should know that it was Mr Allam who first mooted the idea of a supporters trust, as i have said before some of the members of CTWD took him at his word and took his idea forward.

assem allam arrived at hull city with a history. he has in the past taken over local companies and done things that did not sit well with its employees. i have heard things i'm not prepared to repeat. as a result, i started off viewing allam with suspicion but was prepared to give him a chance. he has since had failures and victories. i continue to regard him in much the same way. for me, he can stay if he forgets the name change nonsense. i understand he will be leaving in november in any case.

You never did explain why you were sending me a white feather through the post ?

I take it you know where I live then?

it has some sort of symbolism.

hull somewhere, possibly. i'd have sent it with a generalised address. the post office are good at getting things where they should go.

You said what they claim is all lies. Even if Gretton is totally anti-Allam, how does that mean CTWD are? All of CTWD's statements and actions have been supportive of the owner. The same owner who repeatedly lies, threatens and tells us all to **** off and leave the club for those who just care about good football. He doesn't deserve the respect he's been given by CTWD and the rest of the fans.
^This^

Anyone who thinks CTWD are anti-Allam, despite endless official statements to the contrary, must be a complete and utter ****. Personal views may be regrettable, but they do not represent what the organisation stands for.

I dont want to get into the "die when they want debate" because to believe that was literal is just ridiculous and i like to believe we as people of hull are smarter than that.

As the leader of a group you have to act in a certain way, everything you say and do directly represents your groups beliefs whether you like it or not! This tweet is very disappointing.
Agreed. It's stupid. It says nothing about the CTWD group though.

there is probably a fair bit of damage done to CTWD from this incident wether you think there will be or not.
What do you mean by this, exactly? Because some fannies would sell their club name because an eccentric old man has a grudge against the Council tells them a bullshit story about shortening the name don't like it? ****ing idiot.
