That is the worry.
Did the FA ask ALL the city fans their view? Or did they assume CTWD WAS the voice of the fans?

The club had many chances to do a fair ballot of fans but choose not to for their own reasons

Just for clarity a fair ballot does not include loaded questions

Not Supporters? but they paid the money to watch the team does not matter if they sing or not maybe it could be they are fed up with ctwd thinking they are the only supporters of the club,it is obvious they booed ctwd when they sang at that particular time it was maybe showing how they feel about it.

the club are Hull City - the fans sing at that time because they want to keep it Hull City therefore de facto, they are in support of Hull City and are supporters of Hull City - if people boo supporters of the name and the club Hull City it is fair to assume they are not in support of the name Hull City otherwise they wouldn't boo - aint difficult mate - you need to ask them why they pay to watch a team called Hull City then boo its supporters

they boo the ctwd group not the club name some just won't accept that it is their group that is being booed and not the name.

Had a lot of time to think about this topic this morning and here's my two cents.

Like I said last night, to boo certain sections of the fans is just wrong. Yes there may be a few idiots in the "City 'Til We Die" ranks, but the vast majority of them are peaceful protesters who don't want to bring harm to the club, or portray almost like a vigilante attitude which some posters on here seem to rank them as. To me, it's actually quite reassuring to have fans who sing songs every week, even if it is for a certain cause - without being complete knobs. Last night's booing rivals the "fans" bombarding the 12/13 team with abuse after the Barnsley away match last year. Funnily enough, NONE of them seemed to care about the game - and just were waiting for a fair while by the dug out to get their views in.

So it's a shame if the "prawn sandwich brigade" as I like to think of them are booing the "City 'Til We Die" members, what's wrong with having a traditionalist opinion? Maybe I should be booed for voicing my anger at a lack of Meat and Potato pies after last year (those Chicken Balti ones were just not worth any money).

After seeing a fair few Manchester City players be bombarded with praise from their fans at the airport this morning (even met Vincent Kompany - he's MASSIVE), makes me even more sure that on a game day EVERY fan, whether pro or against Hull Tigers should pull together for Hull City A.F.C on the pitch. To quote a drunken Geordie, "This is the best trip we've ever been on."

don't be daft - the CTWD are supporters of Hull City and are only intent on preserving the name of Hull City - people who boo any supporter of the team and the name are clearly are anti Hull City and are un welcome cancer in the ground - you're trying to defend the indefensible because of your clear hatred for Hull City - please go and support a team with a name that you like

CTWD now have to be careful to ensure they do not alienate themselves from other City supporters. Last night's events seemed to indicate that a lot of other supporters are now fed up with the CTWD strategy and maybe a re-think is called for? The current situation is probably driving some of last night's boo-ers into the pro/allam and even pro/name change camp which is the very opposite of what CTWD want.

Not even worth responding to that reply

It's not even about whether they were booing the name or ctwd... the more alarming fact is the booing didn't happen before which only indicates one thing:

An increasing number of supporters are being bought by Allam. This didn't happen before deadline day. Allam is showing that he can buy support by splashing his cash on players.

There is no logical argument for Hull Tigers and nobody prefers that as a name, but Allam is slowly gaining support from what is essentially a growing group of sell outs.

CTWD need to do the complete opposite. They need to stop appeasing people.

Allam will not stop. It's blatantly clear that he isn't going to stop.

Time to step up the action, because as long as CTWD try to be nice to everybody (Allam, and the people who bow in deference to Allam) then things are just going to get further and further down the road. Time to rip the plaster off.

I don't doubt it will reduce support for CTWD, but it will form a strong contingent that can actually get things done, rather than being a vague barrier of resistance.
