I don't think anyone actually wants to be called Hull Tigers. Some fans are scare stiff of losing Allams and to have convinced them if they do leave we'll end up in League 2 playing at Costello.
But what are they going to do as a minority splinter group? Up until last night I thought CTWD had broad support for the things they stand for. To get those alienated fans back on board CTWD need to develop some kind of charm offensive -if that's the right term - because they have the moral argument. It seems somehow the message isn't getting across and maybe some of the booers think CTWD are just a bunch of trouble makers? I might be wrong but I am not sure that too many of the booers will be interested in sites like this one or social media in general. Therefore CTWD need to find another way to get their message "out there."
Fans polarised, in fighting, bickering - will it manifest itself in a more physical way on the home terraces? If it were to, then that's the single biggest indicator that all this needs to stop and both sides need to think long and hard about what is being achieved. Be interesting to see what happens at 19.04 at St james Park on Saturday. The result of the appeal will resolve this one way or the other. Calm heads needed through what is temporary volatility whilst a long-term solution is reached. Should never have come to this, but we are where we are. My single focus now is the manager and the team. I've was there when we were ****, average, good, great, ****, good etc etc -nothing really changes for me. They come and go, but we remain. Bruce and the team.
Rick ‏@HullCityLive We should sing "City til I die" at 85:04 minutes next home game. Then all the booing will come from half way down Anlaby Road.
Don't shoot at me I'm just dreading any possibility of this being prolonged cause the FA didn't cross all the T's.
Quality! But...... ....is nobody worried that the booers are more than just the tartan blanket flaskers and 'plastics' they're being painted as being. They might be just as passionate about their club as everyone else - just cos they booed doesn't mean they wernt at Torquay. If CTWD and the CTWD supporters respond to those who hold a different opinion to them in the same way CTWD supporters on here do the silent support for CTWD may move towards the slightly less silent minority.
Tin hats at the ready..... Will "those who booed are not real Hull City fans" be the staple of any statement?
What a sad situation this is all turning out to be fans calling fans, the abuse on here which kids look at is disgusting . Other clubs fans must be laughing there heads off. Now what well no one is going to give in so its down to the new outcome of this name change and then either Allam will go or the name will change. I just hope supporters will support the team 100% together how ever i have my doubts. I just hope SB doesn't get fed up with it all to the point were if an offer for him does come in then he decides to go because like most of us in fact i would go as far as to say all of us are sick of it.
Hopefully not with your usual calm restraint. Time to turn up the heat and really ruffle a few feathers. Maybe a divide and in house hostility is the way to bring this farce to an end. Nothing else worked so far. Even the FA blocking the name chane didn't stop old senile.
I doubt it. To be fair, CTWD statements have always been balanced and reasoned. I expect their response to be in a similar vein.
You'll have to wait and see what it says, we have to finish agreeing it's content and write it first.
Our aim is to end all the nonsense, not make it worse, we'll leave the inflammatory ranting to our owner.
You obviously haven't bothered following previous statements from CTWD. I expect a reasoned and rational response as always.
