Had a lot of time to think about this topic this morning and here's my two cents.
Like I said last night, to boo certain sections of the fans is just wrong. Yes there may be a few idiots in the "City 'Til We Die" ranks, but the vast majority of them are peaceful protesters who don't want to bring harm to the club, or portray almost like a vigilante attitude which some posters on here seem to rank them as. To me, it's actually quite reassuring to have fans who sing songs every week, even if it is for a certain cause - without being complete knobs. Last night's booing rivals the "fans" bombarding the 12/13 team with abuse after the Barnsley away match last year. Funnily enough, NONE of them seemed to care about the game - and just were waiting for a fair while by the dug out to get their views in.
So it's a shame if the "prawn sandwich brigade" as I like to think of them are booing the "City 'Til We Die" members, what's wrong with having a traditionalist opinion? Maybe I should be booed for voicing my anger at a lack of Meat and Potato pies after last year (those Chicken Balti ones were just not worth any money).
After seeing a fair few Manchester City players be bombarded with praise from their fans at the airport this morning (even met Vincent Kompany - he's MASSIVE), makes me even more sure that on a game day EVERY fan, whether pro or against Hull Tigers should pull together for Hull City A.F.C on the pitch. To quote a drunken Geordie, "This is the best trip we've ever been on."
