Someone suggested on Saintsweb that Lambert may come back on loan. I'm not sure we need him now (though he'd be a great back up), but that would be too humiliating for him. He doesn't deserve that.

I'd have him back. But he'd have to bend over and Koeman could administer six of the best to him with a red and white striped birch, while Rickie sings Oh When The Saints Go Marching In, at the top of his voice. :)

Can't see why Liverpool would loan him out when he's first reserve striker. He also scored against City (kind of!).

He'd really be unlucky. I wouldn't have him back. :)

I wouldn't have any back, of the ones who went because they wanted to go, except Rickie.

I don't believe it either. He's a quality striker to have on your bench and won't give any trouble if not picked.

Sitting on the bench might actually do him some good, if they get him one of those bead things taxi drivers have.

And I bet they do. Frankly, it'll probably be stomach churning. I mght give it a miss. Depends if there is anything else to do, like reading the label off a paint pot.

But then you'll miss the five seconds they spend going back over our game! Also, I am sure the 40 pass goal will be suitably revered in 2good 2bad.

What's the betting it won't feature..? We're a non-story now because we haven't fallen apart. We're also not a story of surprise success because we already did that last season. If we are in the top 4 in a month's time [that's actually possible with our fixture schedule] then we might see us getting a bit more coverage, if only because then we come up against ManC [H], Arsenal [A] and ManU [H] in quick succession. That should be fun.

I like Steve Bruce and am getting an affection for Hull now. The diametric to both with West Sam. So all behind the Tigers tonight (best place to stand with a tiger).

Abel Hernández hits the bar! Jelavic knocks it in afterwards, but is offside. Still only 1-0.
