  2. Prior to £ity's goal, Wellbeck proved exactly why United got shot of him.

Whinger was right to slag off Wellbeck- AFC ought not to have bought him, as the bloke is a donkey.

  5. Arsenal are constantly being reminded why they will never be a force in Europe.

    Utterly shameful.

someone should buy Wurzil a box of wrist watches for Christmas because he needs a lot more time than he's likely to get in the Premiership.

  7. Arsenal being made to look like a mid-table side.

Not surprisingly, they are languishing in mid-table.

Wilshere shouldn't even be on the pitch, but Twattenburg's inconsistency sums up all that's wrong with the officials in today's game. He's such a homer.
Clear dive, he knows it's a dive, he says it's a dive, but he doesn't book the culprit. There's no excuse for that.
Human error is totally understandable. Bottling decisions because the manager might shout at you or slag you off in the post-match interview is not.

Fat Frank replaced at half-time by the ever-popular Samir Nasri! <laugh> That went down well.

Sad to see any player picking up an injury. Looks like a really painful one for Debuchy.

Shocking poor display by Clattenburg and friends today. Wilshere could've been off about three times over and they turned the game on Arsenal's first goal.
Consistently poor throughout, with clear favouritism towards the home side. Awful.

Arsenal gifted a point by a ****e ref and saved repeatedly by the woodwork. City will be disgusted with that result.

This is why I had the chavs as clear favourites to win the title as they not only have the best squad, they have a tactically asute manager who knows how to use different systems if needed and they still have Hazard to return to scoring ways.

Only way I can see them being put in a tricky situation is if Cahill and Terry are both injured but It's unlikely.

Ian Walker won't be happy, Aston Villa continued their impressive run of form after being viewed as certainties for relegation (by most fans).

I posted last week and either Boss or HIAG agreed that Villa would surprise some top teams the way things are going and hey presto.

We where having a discussion last week when I said how impressed I was with Villa (which didn't go down too well with our fans!)....But yes I remember you saying it wouldn't surprise you if Villa picked up a result as someone listed their fixtures and said they didn't stand a chance of picking up any points but Villa have a good record at anfield, unbeaten in their last four games in scouseland.

Because they're a bit of a bogey team for Liverpool we'll have to wait until they meet another top team before we can really measure their form. A team's traditional patsies are no real measure. It's Chelsea soon I think and I can see points for Villa.

    Unbelievable!

Lucky or not Arsenal are going to be difficult to break down this season and could put a spike in the works of top team's aspirations. I've seen Chelsea start like this before but they usually fade away and that's under Maureen too so I think they will this time. Swansea's early season fire has petered out although it was creditable that they scored one against Chelsea, the other being an own goal. Will Villa maintain this for long? I doubt it and with Everton beating WBA at home the latter must be clear favourites for the drop. Everton have struggled at home so to win away so convincingly means that their defeated opponents are in for a very tough season.

Saints? After selling so many players they still win 4-0 which means a torrid time for Newcastle unless they ditch Pardew but even if they do they won't do anything this season. Sunderland are waiting for a win and Leicester had a very good win today and were a touch unlucky at Chelsea, they'll have to be watched closely. Palace and Burnley are relegation fodder. Stoke? Blerch.

City, one point in six tells me that they will have an inconsistent season and with the right approach we and others can beat them and what will Utd do tomorrow? Don't know. Liverpool I'm sure will have an up and down time so COME ON YOU SPURS. Get more ruthless in front of goal, that's all you need to do to surprise a lot of people this season.
