They all seemed to have vanished! They kicked up a right stink about people coming onto "their" board (even though this is a public forum - go figure), and got everyone banned; and, now, there's no one left to go on their board!
<rofl>

You couldn't make it up!

Hey! Don't ya just wish the Admins on this site would put "arse" among the list of banned words?

That way, every time someone writes "Arsenal" it would look like "****nal" like it was a dirty word (which, as we all know on this board, it is).

Just a thought.

Bale looks like he's saved Wales and Coleman's bacon. Disappointing to see the Welsh fans running on the pitch but Bale getting them to calm down and get back in the stands, good lad.

Didn't see the game but Davies got the assist for the winner apparently.

If so, I think Bale should return to Spurs, clearly needs Davies' help <whistle>

I've been wondering that for a few weeks now,he's still listed as a mod on their board

I saw a few posts recently after a long absence. They were going to have a vote for a new mod as well but that hasn't happened either. It's a lawless town on the Chelsea board. Good job no one ever goes there.

Danny Welbeck: Arsene Wenger cryptic over striker's Arsenal move

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/29156465

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger says he would not have signed striker Danny Welbeck on transfer deadline day had he been in the country.
The 23-year-old left boyhood club Manchester United in a £16m switch to the Gunners while Wenger was away in Rome for a charity game.
Wenger said: "If I'd stayed at home he wouldn't be here now."
He refused to elaborate on that but added he initially wanted Welbeck on loan with an option to buy.
However, Wenger said he was "happy" to make the transfer permanent - though he would not reveal whether Welbeck will start against Manchester City on Saturday.

After his 2 goals for England, you'd think he would take the chance to be upbeat and say how delighted he is to have him!

I know it's not done to wish that other North London team well, but I would find it highly amusing if Wellbeck scores against Manure, particularly if his goals get them CL qualification while Manure's ultra-expensive imports fail.

Incidentally, no doubt VanG will be hailed as the savior if they do get CL qualification, with the pundits forgetting to mention that (I believe) Manure's squad has now cost a lot more than ManCity's. I would think that most managers would do ok with so much money to spend!

How dare you make such a claim, Vimhawk! <grr>
The Man Utd job is the hardest around, despite having a ton of media backing and money coming out of their ears.
Van Gaal said it himself, so it must be true.

Harry Redknapp has claimed that the FFP rules are unfair and that the top 7 sides have bought their way to that position.
That's the manager of QPR, who have a higher wage bill than AC Milan or Everton and have a higher net spend this season than Spurs or Chelsea.
He may have something of a point about the Financial Fair Play rules not really being about financial fair play, but he's managing the wrong club to make the point with.

He doesn't have the first touch and calmness in front of goal to be a 20-25 goal per season striker. Top strikers find time; Welbeck rushes and fluffs his chances. I wish him well- he is a far better player than people give him credit for, but he's not a goalscorer. All the top PL top scorers are predators - Shearer, Cole, Fowler, Owen, Wright, Henry etc - takers of half chances through skill or awareness or both. Welbeck doesn't have these qualities. He has pace, energy, power; he will help a goalscorer to find time and space, but he's no 20+ per season goalscorer himself.

Just one of the many reasons why Redknapp was, and always will be considered to be, a joke.
