So united match the same result you got against relegation fodder and the media commence the circle jerking.
...circle jerking.
No one will go overboard at this result, apart from Matth maybe
The pundits are already rubbing their cocks over this. No one has yet mentioned that Spurs beat QPR by the same score-line with, arguably, a better display.
When we beat them 4-0, the opening lines of the BBC match report reads QPR "...beaten comfortably". When United win by the same score at home it's "tore apart" QPR. Biased bollocks.
So united match the same result you got against relegation fodder and the media commence the circle jerking.
Beaten comfortably I understand because we should have won by six, tore apart because Utd were on their best form and only managed to beat them by the same as our off form score. Yes, I agree with the descriptions.
I've just read Moyes for Newcastle, wrong I think. Newcastle would benefit from a spell in the Championship as they are in a total mess.
. What exactly would they benefit from that? The problem is that their defence is woeful and they still need time to gel.Any rival fan who doesn't see what Utd have suddenly gained is kidding themselves.

Whether it's enough for Utd to suddenly be a threat at the top of the league again is another matter - only time will tell- and a suspect defence will still be a factor. But anyone who doesn't fear playing a team with players of the quality Utd now have is foolish. Blind impressed me most - just what Utd have been lacking most, a midfielder who can protect the back four, break up play, bring the ball forward and be at the heart of keeping the ball moving. One game doesn't make a season, but one game did showcase the top class players Utd now have available and which no team will want to face.
Why, it's almost as if you had a net spend of about £113m in the last transfer window!
Assessing the new signings against the likes of QPR is basically impossible, as they were all allowed to do whatever they wanted and never closed down.
Will this new look attack be able to function against even the most rudimentary resistance? Who knows? You'd have thought so, but it's still untested.
The defence still looked exceptionally vulnerable every time that the opposition managed to string a couple of passes together, so I doubt Mourinho or Pelligrini are too worried.
The point that most people seemed to be making, myself included, wasn't that Man Utd didn't play well or win well, but that the media would and did jump all over it like van Gaal was the second coming.
This was a very easy win against a team that are playing very poorly, in exactly the same manner that we managed a couple of weeks ago, even down to the identical scoreline.
We got 'Well, that defence is ****, isn't it?'. You get 'Back To Their Best! Gaalacticos! Title Challengers! Gaal's Galore! Fourtress Old Trafford!' and the like.
It's a ridiculous contrast.
Pocket change that 113million. Its like your club spending a fiver.
And Pelligrini is worried. City have been dire themselves and lost to stoke ffs.
Your massive debt and the FFP rules which prevented you from signing Falcao without fudging them and forced you to sell Welbeck disagree.
You, on the other hand, lost to MK Dons. 4-0. And Swansea. And drew with Burnley and Sunderland.
I don't think that you can ignore those results because you beat a team who have been absolutely ****e so far, to be honest.
