This is the best thing I have read pro name change or anti name change and I thank you for taking you time out to write this! unfortuntely the people against the name change don't wish to expand! I feel this is abit backwards, I have been watching hull from a very young age and there used to be people at boothferry walking around in liverpool shirts and man utd shirts, do I want to go back to them days, hell no! but amazingly, some hull fans do!

people also question where the evidence of the money it will make, I find this very narrow minded, obviously hull tigers will achieve more globally than hull city! that is obvious to anyone I would of thought!

This is the best post I have read on this board It's about time the silent majority started to have a voice

That's two of you, how strange.

My feeling is if you can't be bothered to make it known then your opinion isn't very strong either way

Happy Tiger you always make your opinion known as well as a few others who agree with Allam on this , you are definitely a minority though so on what grounds does anybody claim a 'majority' ?

Online, sure, minority, partly because most people don't like the confrontation, obviously that doesn't bother me. Partly because of the type of people who are online.

Offline, yeah its a finger in the air. I do the majority thing mostly because it irritates me when CTWD and its followers claim to represent the majority, when everything so far has indicated they do not. The majority almost certainly fall into the *Can't be arsed one way or t'other" which infuriates CTWD supporters.

Doesn't infuriate me. I've never claimed to represent the majority as we haven't been allowed a free and fair vote on the name change.

For all those against the name change I suggest you read a couple of books
Who moved my cheese and Our iceburg is melting, they are basically about been afraid of chance.

<laugh>

Oh dear. It's not being afraid of change, it's not wanting to be the laughing stock of the the Football League. Simple really.

Imagine looking down the Premier League table and seeing, "Hull Tigers" in 9th.

Cringeworthy.

Once again this senile buffoon has us at each other's throats during a time we should be looking forward to. Before anyone blames CTWD, look at who is the one opening old wounds in a pointless press conference. We're left with a stubborn old man stamping his feet because he can't get his own way. I admire his career and past charitable actions, but, as someone who works as a teacher, his current actions would embarrass a 5 year old.

^^ <ok>

But CTWD are still to blame. Obviously.

It's just funny that some people are trying to spin today's madness into some sort of subtle genius.

Too many people overestimate Assem Allam wildly.

I'd rather be looking down the premier league table at Hull Tigers than looking at Hull City in league 2 !!

And I'd rather be looking down the Premier League table at Hull City than looking at Hull Tigers in League Two.

Which is equally irrelevant.

But we're not called Hull Tigers right now and look where we are...

Highest ever finish, first FA Cup Final and first ever European adventure, whilst being called Hull City AFC.

Whoever takes us over, we'll still be in the Premier League, and you'll feel like a daft twat.

Everyone that is slagging Allam off can you tell me one thing he has got wrong since he took over the club? And by got wrong i mean something that has been proven to be the wrong decision not just something that in your opinion is wrong (to avoid the same old answer that changing the name is not going to bring more success)

And before anyone asks, i'm firmly in the 'don't really care either way camp'
