I supported CTWD, but they should disband when Allam sells the club. I hope the old fool goes, as he's too stubborn to reason with.

Firstly that time seems a long way off yet. But even if he does sell and we keep the name why can't they become a supporters trust long term? There's clearly a lack of groups for City fans to have a voice.

Excellent

Stop been ****.

Almost as ironic as him defending Allam and calling someone else stubborn <doh>

It pisses me off that as recently as a few days ago it was considered taboo on here to criticise Allam, yet people routinely talk absolute unsubstantiated crap about CTWD who have done nothing but good and been always respectful. Any criticism Allam gets has been earnt, but the same simply can't be said of CTWD.

Just out of interest, whatever happened to Angie and Jim Rowe?

I hear that CTWD are putting a bid together...So far they have raised £32.65, a dog eared copy of Mayfair, featuring Linda Lusardi, a David Bowie album and three cans of Special Brew.......Andy Dalton said he is quite prepared to throw in his push bike if it seals the deal....Allam is said to be interested...

Blame the Allams or blame ctwd? I think one party has gone unnoticed and was probably the main cause. I truly believe that if the council hadn't rejected plans of AA buying the stadium the name change wouldn't be on the cards.
Firstly I'm going to be honest with you that at first I wasn't bothered about the name change, I swayed towards the idea of voting no when we had heavy handed stewards at the home game last year regarding the no to hull tigers banner and have quietly been on the side of ctwd. However after hearing the interview it got me thinking and are we blaming the right culprit? I mean yeah he is losing it and making himself look like a fool, but the man has said he can't take the club any further because of obstacles in our way. I honestly believe that if the council sold the stadium we wouldn't be in this predicament as allam would be getting income elsewhere, it would also be easier to sell the club.

divide and conquer ... perfect business acumen .. CTWD have been played perfectly and now the **** storm to them for a change will happen ... just look at the HDM and forum comments .. the "vocal minority" has been found out and destroyed

Dunno who they are?

There's no doubt the council are a problem, but an owner who cares about a ground development more than his own personal pride would be able to sort something out, and the problems with the council are no excuse for what Allam has done in the last year, and continues to do.

Dunno who they are?

They were the main instigators and push behind Tigers 2000, which was a quite successful protest group/fans voice group back in the day. You must be too young to remember them as they were in the papers all the time fighting our corrupt owners. Unless she's given up football, I'm surprised she isn't very vocal about what is happening right now. She's the only one missing from the old guard.

You all need to remember that CTWD is no longer a protest group, its focus is creating a Supporters Group by absorbing/taking over the Tiger Co-Op.

Allegedly.

The HDM ? You mean the same old few people commenting ? Not sure how anybody could take that remotely seriously as indicating anything . Bitterly divided with even fewer facts than here and a lot of rugby fans

CTWD wanted a follow up meeting after the one in November, but instead Allam reneged on every assurance he'd given us in that meeting, he did so within a week.

He's a liar, either that, or the dozy old bastard can't even remember what he said.

That press conference should give you some idea of what our three hour meeting was like, he spent an hour talking about the fact he'd cured cancer ffs.

He's a liar, an unscrupulous manipulator and a shameless blackmailing bully; don't let's look for options, as there aren't any. :emoticon-0105-wink:

What a daft sod you've turned out to be.

You need to remember the supporters trust thing was rekindled by Mr Allam himself, suggesting that in the future he would like to see the supporters owning a share of the club. Unfortunatly ( for them ) some members of CTWD took Mr Allam at his word and began to look into the possability of such a trust.

Personally I think we should blame CTWD for world poverty, energy prices and the Iraqi world wile we're at it...
