""I'd like to think I've made history," says Allam. "City Til We Die have also made history. On November 1st I called meeting with City Till We Die, they said they'd go away and think with another way of generating income. Instead of coming back to me with suggestions, I was shocked on December 23rd when they had a 10metre banner out at the match. I said then, that is not for me."

CTWD and the Allams are polar opposites and I do not wholly agree with either of their sentiments.

However. CTWD are detrimental to the club and the Allams have given us the best years in the history of the club.

I feel the same as your first statement.

Second one is just a matter of opinion. They will see themselves as liberators and heritage keepers. Some will see them as the stick that poked the bear.

I'm just a bit shocked by that statement. Clearly states CTWD have had an impact on him.

He's right. They offer nothing positive. All they want to do is whine, protest and produce pithy sound bites for the press while acting like victims to mask the villains they really are.

Can some of you who are pro name change put forward a reason why you have the view you do, I studied History at A level and was taught to view things from both points of view and come to a reasoned conclusion but no matter how hard I try I cannot see a valid reason to be pro name change.

What a load of tosh. What they've done positive is get off their bottoms to save our club's name. We were City -- and known as City -- when Arsenal were still Woolwich Arsenal before WW1. We were not Hull City Tigers. Allam should have been big enough to apologise for the hateful things he's said in the past.

Don't think anyone is pro-name change on here. They're pro keeping things as they are and letting the man, who gave us the best years of our club, get what he wants so more can come.

They saved the name? At what cost? Dr Allah saved the entire club. At great personal risk and cost. What cist and risk have CTWD used?

CTWD wanted a follow up meeting after the one in November, but instead Allam reneged on every assurance he'd given us in that meeting, he did so within a week.

He's a liar, either that, or the dozy old bastard can't even remember what he said.

That press conference should give you some idea of what our three hour meeting was like, he spent an hour talking about the fact he'd cured cancer ffs.

What's funny is, the way that the phrase "he saved the Club" comes up time and time again.

YES, he saved the Club and has pumped millions into making us what we are now. We are immensely thankful and hope he stays as CTWD was NEVER an anti-Allam campaign, just anti-Hull Tigers. There's no harm in suggesting that one of his decisions are wrong at all. After all, that's what society is all about; having the right to voice an opinion freely. ESPECIALLY since as in we pay for the Season Passes year after year.

If he can't solve his feud with the Council out like a grown-up, then so be it. Another owner will come in, possibly with more money and bigger aspirations, continuing the growth of the Club.

I would rather CTWD disband before Allam leaves.

Not going to happen though.

I am not a fan of CTWD or Hull Tigers.

****ing hell are you Chamberlain re-incarnated. That's what he did and look what happened. Hull City is already getting known around the world without this stupid name change. We have been known as Hull City since 1904, the tigers nickname came much later. In case any of you Allam arselickers doubt we are known abroad, I have just come back from working 4 weeks in South Africa and everyone I met knows of Hull City, unfortunately a lot of them due to the mentally ******ed owner we have, all of them saying why would we change the name. Oh and by the way ALL of our matches this season have been shown on TV over there, something only Chelsea of the top four teams can boast. Instead of dragging up the name change again he should be negotiating a deal with a sports retailer down there and getting a container full of replica shirts down there.

Have you quoted the wrong person? I'm not pro-name change. I was just answering some other question that I don't think anyone actually wants the name to change.

You do realise that opposition to changing the name would exist without CTWD and would probably be more militant and less reasonable ?

Is it too late to get Power of Attorney for Happy Tiger as well as Mr Allam?
