So you think its ok for "team mates" to be throwing punches in training? really? wow
As long as it's forgotten about and the parties shake hands after then it's fine, yes.

Evening lads & Lases,
genuine question for you with no WUM (well I'll try anyway)
Are any of you worried in the slightest that if you have a good 2 seaons in the Prem, that you might lose Pearson to a bigger club or even the England set up?
Looking around the leagues there arent many youngish up-coming English managers that have achieved what NP has, and our national team is a complete joke. Its in need of a complete revamp and forgetting the idiots at the FA, how many of you would give NP the job on a long contract.
I know someone (Andy i think) once said he was previously part of the England set up but I dont know how or why he left?
Anyway, 2 good seasons and he'll be a wanted man by a top 6 club,....whilst the rest of us will be strugling in the NPC again-(sorry)
What do you reckon?
Had we built the KP 5 years earlier then MON might have been tempted to stay. As Lesta Gangsta said the club is now in the best shape of his history
We're in the Premier League whilst the money is more then ever, we have wealthy owners backing the club, we're completely debt free whilst have have a 32K sweater stadium, we have a very young squad pushing for success and we have a management team who collectively are one of the best in the country.
Nigel Pearson on some levels I would argue is better then MON but that's partly because sports science is quite a new thing.
Our future has never looked brighter on and off the pitch. So let's try and enjoy it

With NP we are lucky that i get the impression he kinda feels 'at home' here - also shown by his return. We have the money and the squad ethic he has spent years to build and so i think we can grow to southamption size IF the first couple of years go ok (and i am not naive enough to presume they definately will but the signs are good) and so i think he can grow with us and cant see a club bigger than that wanting him... but who knows. He is a top manager though and one with great dignity and honour. We are in exceptionally safe hands with NP. He staff team from his assistants all the way through to the sports scientists are excellent too.

I would say we are the same size as Southampton already
Academy aside what do they have that we dont?

Recent premier league success?

In Forster, Bertrand, Llanana, Rodriguez, Lambert and Shaw they have had 6 full England interntionals in the last 2 seasons
A win.

1 very good season but they have pretty much lost that entire team.
We have the same stadium, size fan base. Similar historys.
And for how good their academy is their yet to develop a world cup winner or someone who won the golden boot at a world cup![]()
Seriously, what are you on?
