Unfortunately it will be the home stand or the pub, as I won't see anything worthwhile from up there. :steam:

It is a **** away, the view is terrible from seven floors up.

Though it would be worth going if we can we get Ben Arfa to sit with us.

Atmosphere is decent and if you haven't been before it's worth going, but it's a really **** view of the game, it really is like watch the game from the roof of a tower block.

Speaking on this subject. I'm an adult pass and my cousin who I take is on a junior pass. However my cousin can't make this game so I'm going to go with my mate (who will come under the adult band). Surely I can still get two tickets and upgrade on my cousin's pass to adult? Anybody any idea?

It's an away game, so you just have to buy the relevant tickets, your passes are irrelevant.

Tickets go on sale to pass holders tomorrow (then general next week) so I just mean... because one of those passes is a junior, do I have to get one of Newcastle's U16 tickets with it?

I've always enjoyed this fixture - a bit like watching a Subbuteo game, a hard climb to the seats and last year it was incredibly hot under the roof but the atmosphere is great. Last time we stayed on (great weekend deal at the Gosforth Park Hotel) and had a perfect Sunday drive down the coast via Whitby. Robin Hoods Bay and Filey for fish and chips at Inghams. A perfect weekend.

That's just made my mind up, pub it is then

Edit:- on the other hand, if I borrow my mother-in-law's wheelchair and get my lad to push me would we have a better view? If the answer is yes I can see loads of us going in wheelchairs, better view and only £14 for two to get in :emoticon-0178-rock:
