Well Brucey boy has surprised everyone and in my eyes has had the best transfer window out of all the prem teams.
In: Livermore, Snodgrass, Ince, Robertson, Maguire, Lenihan, Hernandez, Diame, Ramirez, Ben Arfa and Dawson.
They are looking like a really good team now.
Plenty of new faces for Bruceys daughter to get familier with and best of all there is 5 months before Bruce can start selling their best players and destroying what he has built.

I hate to say this, but I think he has built a useful squad there, but you are right, he has some past form in knowing how to dismantle what he has built very quickly.

Where the hell is the £££ coming from to fund all of these signings though

They must be living beyond their means

This is a typical Brucey MO. Spends big, no doubt all on higher wages promised European football and wages to compensate. Gets in some good players, who may not form a good team. A mid season slump after Xmas, a series of winless games (what was his record for us? 14 in a row?) will have the Tigers fans calling for his head by March. Will he blame us and him being a Geordie for it?

All I can say is, bring it on. Hull fans are ****s.

    I wouldn't want Hull's debt or Hull's manager tbh.

They were supposed to be much better than us last season, "Everyone look at us we're 10th," until it all went wrong as we'd predicted.

Eleven players signed this window, but only a total net spend of £21.25m and that's despite us signing our first ever £10m player. We were fairly happy with the business we knew we were doing yesterday, to get Ramirez and Ben Arfa out the blue late last night was outstanding.

11 players in eh? Didn;t every media outlet slate us for that last season?

I agree mind, he's had a good window - although he's spent a lot more than we did on our 11 players.

Bruce wheeled and dealed well enough at Wigan and produced their best ever team and their current crop came through their academy system. Reckon he made some early signings at inflated prices to cope with the Euro fixtures that will not now happen.

Be interesting to see how things pan out this season. If I was a Hull fan I would be optimistic.

I would be interested to see Hulls wage bill, some good signings no doubt. Remember when he signed Riveros and Dasilva that did not really work out did it.

Their most eye catching signings are a bit of a gamble and could go either way. Hernandez is unproven in the Prem and has never scored much anyway, Ramirez was highly thought of at one point but I've yet to see him do anything of note let alone have a great game overall and Ben Arfa is a sulky child who only gets out of bed when he wants.

Livermore, Dawson and Diame are solid signings.

It is possible that Bruce has learnt from mistakes made at our club.

Our team spirit was great last year, hope the influx don't have a negative effect...

Yeah, they're two signings that can win games. Questions with both players that undoubtedly will remain unanswered, but still impressive signings nonetheless.

Newcastle have ruined their squad, selling Ben Arfa and their only intelligent centre half. The guy MBiwa was immense in Ligue 1 and Pardew flushed him down the drain, they deserve everything that's coming to them this season, they've played with fire enough times, now they're going to get burnt.

Published net spend of £24.4m !

Great business if you can afford It, the lads done well.

I hope the bailiffs don't call before Brucie has to offload in 4 months time !

    Diame/HBA/Ramirez on top of Meyler/Livermore/Huddlestone/Brady/Elmohamady/Robertson/Snodgrass/Quinn/Ince

    12 midfielders...
Should be interesting trying to keep all them happy...
Would imagine Meyler/Brady/Quinn will be the ones to be dropped and forgotten

    Sold Shane Long £12m and George Boyd £3m - £36.25m - 15m = £21.25m.
