"Uruguay forward Ramirez, 23, has been linked with a season-long loan to La Liga side Sevilla and midfielder Cork, 25, a permanent move to Crystal Palace, but Koeman has vowed to keep the pair.
Asked if he would loan out Ramirez, Koeman told BBC Radio Solent: "We need everyone because our squad is not big enough to think about loaning players.
Koeman said he is eager to get Ramirez fit and involved.
"Gaston had a difficult pre-season," Koeman continued. "He has been injured twice, he is still not fit and needs more minutes."

Sad to see Gastón go - if you can keep him fit and get him a regular run of games, he could be a cracking player for you. A whole lot of talent in that boy if you can give him the game time. Seems a great window for you - good luck for the season! I hope he does well for you.

We're feeling how you lot were feeling last year when you signed Ramirez. He's an exciting player that takes us to the next level. Good luck to you lot, I like Southampton.
