Was it Bolivia which lost its coast to Chile?

Or Switzerland?

They both I understand have naval vessels...

Bolivia is the answer I was looking for Yorkie - they still have a navy (together with an admiral who has never seen the sea !) they have recently been allowed the use of a port in Peru however - so all is not lost. over to you.

I remember us playing at Rose and Crown Meadow around 1883. The answer has to be Crown Green bowling. ;)

Maybe not. <laugh>

Goodall and Carr played bowls for GB in the Empire Games in the 1950s. Cannot remember how they did as the short term memory is not so good these days. <doh>

What do these stats relate to?

Beppe Sannino 4.50
Gianluca Vialli 7.43
Colin Lee 10.33
Adrian Boothroyd 11.00
Ray Lewington 11.54
Glenn Roeder 11.75
Gianfranco Zola 12.50
Kenny Jackett 14.25
Sean Dyche 16.33
Malkay Mackay 19.80
Steve Perryman 22.50
Steve Harrison 31.00
Graham Taylor 32.87

aha...... the disciplinary record..... games per send off???

Correct Yorkie. Go back further and you get these.

Mike Keen 49.00
Fred Pagnam 66.50
Len Goulden 80.00
Ken Furphy 82.75
Eddie Hapgood 94.00
Bill Findlay 142.00
Ron Burgess 228.00
Neil McBain 256.50
Harry Kent 261.50

This would suggest that refs are far more likely to issue red cards these days and the two yellows had not been invented when some of the above were managers.

Back to you.;)

I think it's more a case of the law-makers have hamstrung referees to a degree. Imagine if Clive Thomas was a referee under the current rules. <yikes>
