Try as I might I honestly think our centre mid is abysmal
We all know Jake knows where the onion bag is but will not shoot
We play a formation with wingbacks and dont supply them
Jela has to collect the ball to have half a chance
We have the pace in the squad we have the experience
I can't put my finger on what Is missing but we need to turn it round quick
 
Huddlestone isn't an influence sometimes, and that's when a change needs to be made quickly, we can't wait till most of the game is over.

Yeah I get it and the negativity until it clicks like it always does at some point and the team are world beaters....its boring. We have bad days and good days. Guess what today was. People whining on saying what we need is this or that is a joke as it seems to change all the time what we bloody need. Just get on with it.
 
I can't decide whether we need a proper defensive midfielder or a more attacking one! We need someone who can actually win the ball back, but we also need someone who can do something with it. Jake and Tom seem to just be inbetweeners at the moment, jack of all trades types.

I would question playing them together especially if we can get another midfield playmaker in. Livermore was better when Hudd went off today.

As I said previously for all those that dont comprehend an opinion we have the pace and the experience all I asked for is an opinion of what is wrong
My thoughts are we are not supplying the wingbacks or taking shooting chances when through on goal
 
It might of been better if the defence hadn't just tried hoofing the ball down to Jelly and actually tried to play it to the midfield.
 
The international break couldn't have come soon enough....Beating a poor DQPR side seems to have papered over some cracks..Drawing at home to Stoke was a good point in the circumstances..But today it seems as if there was just nothing there in the first half...No spirit, No desire or feck all......SB will have to play the role of arse kicker, as well as compassionate man in the next couple of weeks... Whilst it is not exactly head-in-the-oven time, a good display against Wet Spam is required.
 
Thought the poor buggers looked knackered rather than bad to be honest....a better advert could not be shown on why Europa came too soon for us.

I see it the other way. At times we do nothing but supply the wingbacks when we should be playing down the middle. We don't seem to have anyone capable of dribbling through the middle or playing more direct. Jelavic sits further up with no supply through the centre for large chunks of matches.

From what I've seen of him, I see Hudds as a strong defensive midfielder and we need a strong attacking midfielder to sit in front of him. Aluko isn't that man right now, neither is Livermore.

You said you weren't trying to be negative & then you was. I appreciate it's your opinion but that doesn't mean what you have written is right.

Our central midfield isn't abysmal. They had a poor ame but that doesn't make them abysmal. Do you not remember Simon Walton?

We put in more crosses than most teams, I'd say our wingbacks are supplied with plenty of the ball.

Jelly coming back to collect the ball led to their first goal today. What about his goal? Any player having any chance has to collect the ball before they have a chance.
