Update... Ramirez also missed last night's Coronation Street, and therefore isn't feeling in the right psychological state to return to training so soon. Verdict: Will be assessed again in the new year.

In Corrie, you can only have a relationship with someone living in the street or just round the corner, if you attempt to leave you can go to London or Europe (but nowhere else), you always have a previously unmentioned mate who can put you up on their sofa, if you lose your job a few hours of work in one of the 5 eating establishments on the street will usually enable you to have a decent standard of living and holiday abroad, you never draw benefits or even have heard of them., and best of all you never need an overcoat despite living in Manchester.
