Important win for him after a very bad week. Nice to see, especially as they had to leave Remy out as he's off to Chelsea. I think that they ditched the 3-5-2 and went to more of a 4-4-1-1, which was sensible and closer to what they'd used in pre-season. I wonder if van Gaal will catch on as quickly? Seems unlikely.

Cant see how a linesman can be blamed for getting such tight decision right...he gave benefit of doubt to attacking team which is what football needs imo. Anyhow that was more than balanced out with tim howard getting away with deliberate hand ball out side the area
