With a name like that ,you any relation ?

Are you assuming that I'm a gypsy because of my Irish surname? How very racist, and very untrue. I'm actually descended from Hiberno-Norman aristocrats, and Willy the Bastard gave my ancestors land in Eire so we could civilise the Gaelic peasantry.

But I'm a dodgeball coach.

Apparently its skysports italia, skysports seem to get wind of everything first, much like shane long deal! i hope this is true, he's lightning quick, and will make it hard for defenders! ....

It is an exciting prospect of him signing based on his is pace, videos on the internet, Juventus and Benfica also interested and also being a Uruguay international.

On the other hand it fills me with fear that we will sign a player who likely can't speak great English, has an injury prone past, is hardly prolific, may not settle well in England or Hull, may get bored or disinterested quickly, is unproven in this league, would be our transfer record fee and would cost a bulk of what we got for Long.

Aye , if that's your real name mines Sinbad, though I suspect referring to people as gypos might be a tad racist though, why not put to the test and call boydy it to his face ?

12m Euros.. 9.6m pounds. We'd still have roughly 3m from the Long deal which presumably is what we used on Dawson.

I'm not the first to call him that on this forum, and it's more of a pet name.

Don't cry about it.

Ok, this if true would be a major coup, proper blow your socks off

I wont believe it till i see him at the ground on TV etc..

On another note its said he is part owned by his agent, who by the sounds of it can be a hard to deal with and very pushy, id guess the City transfer rumour could be a ploy to get bigger prem clubs to jump in, and start a bidding war

For City to even be linked with a player of this quality, it shows how far we have come in only the last 12 mths

Di Marzio is very reliable with his rumours. If he's coming for a medical today, he's coming for a medical.

Dont be suprised if Arsenal dont want to talk to him, with them having Giroud out, they have been linked with him in the past

Only broke late last night..would of thought Sky Italia and Sky UK would of shared the info on sky sports news by now though

Steve Bruce has been frustrated in his attempts to sign Blackburn Rovers striker Jordan Rhodes, so has the Hull City boss turned his attention to Serie A for attacking reinforcements? According to tuttomercatoweb.com, Palermo striker Abel Hernandez is flying to England ahead of completing a €12million (£9.5m) move after rejecting interest from Benfica.
