Made it to the match at the last minute! Sunderland supporters were class, West Brom supporters were dreadful ...... I'd hate to have to go there every home match. Our end was right behind Cattermole and almost everyone shouted 'SHOOT' but with a tinge of irony. Dunno who was more surprised when it flew in, us or Catts.
Just seen the extended highlights on Sky, from what Merson was saying earlier I thought we would be terrible and were lucky to get a draw but that wasn't the case at all. Berahino was dangerous but apart from him and Anichebe's dive they were reduced to hopeful long shots. At the end of the day we've come from behind (ahem) in an away match to get a point and that's enough for me today. Still plenty to come from the lads but a good start for me.

Just watched MOTD, too drunk last night, and the reaction of the Sunderland supporters was hilarious when we scored the 2nd goal. Almost everyone was gesturing towards the West Brom knobsacks to our right. They ****ing embarrassing from the start and hardly make a squeak until they scored. They were on their feet when Cattermole scored 'offering people out' and doing the throat-cutty gesture

Great away support ....... good noise, even when we were behind, and quite a few of the usual suspects Thanks to the Sunderland lads who got me in despite turning up, on a flyer, 20 minutes from kick off with no ticket. Seems Gomez could be the most creative player we have, in terms of his passing in behind and vision at least. Think he should be starting next week, the weight on his passing was immaculate. All said and done, it's a solid start, performance wasn't great, but then it's first day and it was far from woeful too. I see no reason at all why we can't turn United over, they looked absolute pipe.
The wall is having the same problems with pics as yourself, spent all day truing to get it right for him, but to no avail.. When you's are sending them , they are coming out as either thumbnails or attachments for some reason. Yet when i copy them, they are coming out full size..why? nee idea. Maybe if you want to upload from your phone or laptop, a site like photobucket may be of use for you's. it's free. But if uploading from the web, there is no need, just copy and paste into the image box.
They were bad at times weren't they? Not counting any chickens but, ffs, we really need to get into United next week. I never thought I'd say this but they'll be an absolute bag of nerves and the crowd can make a big difference. They looked drained last season and the rest hasn't done them any good. Rooney looks like he's on heroin and the Giggs/VG relationship is doomed ......... we need to play our part and raise the roof. 4 points from the first 2 games would put us months ahead of last season
I can't today mate, I've got a load of graft to do before I start my hols, but if we can get it arranged for the next one, sound. Be a pleasure. We can easily do it mate, be a great crowd and a buoyant atmosphere, and they just didn't look to have anything, bar Rooney who looks really hungry again. I though van Gaal after the game, my immediate thoughts were 'are the playersd gonna want to play for him?', we all know what player power is like nowadays, and he is a great respected coach, will they stand for being told they are ****? Can't wait for it, and hopefully we carry over the atmosphere from the Cardiff & WBA games last season.
