The juniors got there passes this morning . ( north stand ) I'm sat next to them and I didn't get mine. Grrrr
Still managed to send my sons to the wrong address even thought I personally went in and filled in the forms myself.
Did anyone really expect it to? Name change aside, the club have improved an important aspect of their presentation and professionalism in an area where it is still conspicuously lacking. Maybe the current owner needs to be given space and time to quietly backpeddle on his name change madness, and needs to reconstruct his relationship with the fans (customers?). We know he is wrong, maybe now he realises he could be wrong and needs to feel loved again. Constantly reminding him of his error now he is aware of the damage he has caused, is not the best way to coax him down out of his tree.
My N3 came today. Thought it looked very smart myself, and i'm stating to get that fuzzy pre-season excitement
Agree it looks very professional. Pity the enclosed fixture list doesn't include any of the kick off times. Not very professional that. Also I would have like to see HULL CITY somewhere on the stuff shoved through my door today.
Seems to be a stand off between AA and the vast majority of HCFC people and the football world. He doesn't seem the type to be bullied, so a different approach is needed. Today's he's seen that HCFC has made £5m profit on Long in 8 months. He must know that a name change might bring in what ? An extra £1 or £2 million on shirt sponsorship? Someone near to him needs to talk him round and advise him that antagonising 99% of HCFC fans and making us a potential laughing stock is not the way to go. Discreet wheeling and dealing will boost income as seen today.
