Done deal apparently. http://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/football/cardiff-city-sign-winger-anthony-7607615
Yeah it's now on the main BBC website. A big shame. Seems ridiculous to sell him to a direct rival knowing how good he is. Better to have sold him to someone like West Brom. Hopefully it means we've got someone coming in though. Lee Chung-Yong was linked wasn't he?
I hope we got decent money for him, and I hope we have a replacement lined up rather than promoting one of the Murphy boys
Selling one of our best players to a team that will be challenging for promotion is really bad business and on the cheap as well? My concerns is growing and growing.
Okay, I'm trying to stay positive but this is a piss take. £1million for our most productive wide player to one of our biggest rivals? I'm 100% against this. Moronic.
this is because adams has fallen out with him. it could prove a very damaging falling out. i'm very concerned - some of the things i've heard are not pleasing.
Cardiff fan in peace. Really surprised by this, headed over to your board expecting stories of attitude problems or other issues. Glad from our point of view about your reaction. Is this a bust up with the manager that we've taken advantage of perhaps? edit: Just answered in the post above
Forgot about this: @NotOfficialCCFC The fee is £1m, and Swansea had a £3m bid rejected in January! Bargain! Did he play during that time?
I'm getting more and more concerned re NA's appointment, as he seems to be 'falling out' with several players who have been key to our success in previous seasons. What happened to his statement re 'not selling any of our players on the cheap!!!' The fee is probably reasonable, given that he has a year left on his contract and he's injury prone, but it's time we saw some other players being added to the squad, as I really don't want to see some of our youth team promoted to fill the gaps - that's asking for trouble!!!
1million? Surely that can't be right. A real error if that is the case - don't need the cash and strengthen an already strong rival? - well played Neil, you've outdone yourself. 9/10 games just because 3/4 for me.
This really concerns me! Pilkington is our best midfielder in my opinion, I would have really loved to have seen him play at the top of the diamond. He carries the greatest goal threat of our midfield. To sell a player that has scored an average of 5 goals a season in the Premiership, from midfield, for £1million is very poor business, even despite the fact he is injury prone.
Anything else you've heard Supers? Northampton said we're being run like a circus several months back and it looks like he was right. What a dreadful bit of business. I seen on twitter than Adams said we have to "Sell before we can buy", what happened to the Snodgrass money? What happened to being debt free? I can't trust a thing this bloke says, after all his harping on about attacking football that seemed like an empty promise on Sunday as well. I honestly think we could be scrapping to stay in the Championship this season.
