Nice loophole - so next time a team wins a first leg 4-0, and is losing 5-0 in the return leg - they can field an ineligible player so that UEFA apply their 'standard' 3-0 score line - and therefore promote that team through to the next round (despite the fact they would have lost had they not fielded the ineligible player).

Do you honestly believe this is coincidence!?

There are backhanders going on somewhere - either that are UEFA are a complete bunch of incompetent fools.

We gave them £2m stuffed in a black bin liner:bandit:

I've been on Sevcomedia and AberdeenMad, and it seems there are loads of their fans that would be ashamed to accept a place in the next round under the same circumstances. Jesus.

Aye an Aberdonian giving something away for free, even a place in European competition, I'll believe it when I see it.

Those ****s are tighter than a crab's arsehole.

how do you know how tight a crab's arsehole is?

That's the kind of thing I'd expect Dan to come away with coz he's an expert.

You have to presume that a crab's arsehole is watertight what with most of them living underwater and all.

Ipso facto; crabs have tight arseholes.

**** sake i must be tired coz am laughing like **** about that <laugh>

When the huns won their European trophy , they got beat on penalties in an earlier round the referee had made a mistake and the huns went through on aways goals. Judging by comments on some forums , why didn't Rangers allow the other team to go through !!

<laugh> brilliant. I dare you to go on sevco media and point that out to them. I would be hilarious the verbal gymnastics they would pull to get out of that one.
