You have misunderstood context. Hodor can be burly and stocky because he is large, tall, etc, as well as thick set. The context is the object of the description. Hooper, Gimli, Rooney, etc, cannot be both burly and stocky because they are not tall or large. They are simply stocky. By being short they preclude burliness. That is the context. I swear this is my final word on the matter because it is clear it is just going to annoy everyone. I am afraid you are wrong, but I accept you do not wish to admit it, so let's just drop it?
Very positive comments from Carlton Morris on his loan to Oxford United. Really hope he can 'step up to the mark' and go on to become part of the 1st team squad, as IMO, he has lots of potential. Read it here - http://www.edp24.co.uk/sport/norwic..._the_mark_at_oxford_united_1_3715079#cxrecs_s
Thanks Dave. Let's hope we do make it back to the PL and he returns to show us what he can REALLY do!!!!
Hopefully this RVW move canbest suit everyone. If I am honest, I dont see him playing for us again. If he has a good season he will quite likely be happy to sign for St Ettienne permannently. Does anyone know whether there is a fee agreed for him at the end of the season?
Good business by Mcnally - if RvW has a good season and St Etienne want to keep him at the end. http://www.edp24.co.uk/sport/norwic...fswinkel_is_a_success_at_st_etienne_1_3715083
Excellent deal done by McNally: "The Canaries have negotiated an up front fee of £1.25m with the Greens paying all of van Wolfswinkel’s salary during his loan stint in France. St Etienne then have an option to seal a permanent move for the 25-year-old for an additional £6m figure, with City also securing a 20pc cut of any future transfer deal should van Wolfswinkel make a success of his spell in Ligue One." Note that those are pounds not euros.
Doomcaster would most likely have come up with a B.O.G.O.F. deal to get Bassong off the payroll at the same time!
That is a very, very good deal for us (assuming their option to buy isn't a hard one on only their terms). Even taking into account any relegation clause
That sounds like a great deal but i'd love to see RvW back and firing for Norwich. Class act on those tweets too. Good luck to him.
Any of you heard anything more about Fer to QPR ? Our Uncle Tony started following him on twitter yesterday... tapping up for the 21st century!!
If you do sign our best player in my opinion, it will cost you well over £10m so i hope Rednapp`s dog still has a few quid left in his Monte Carlo bank account?
