Who? Name names. Just because criticism is levelled at the Club by posters here doesn't mean anyone wants us to fail - we're all passionate about the Swans. Grow up.

As a rule of thumb, I'd say anyone who qualifies their statements with a "of course, I hope I'm proved wrong".

For any genuine fan that's a given and shouldn't need to be said.

All gone - loosing 2 of our better players in a season is a challenge but 5

Probably on their way

Bony
Chico

JdG ?
Ki publicly stating he wanted to stay in Sunderland
Strong rumours Jonjo unhappy

An ageing (but good RB)
Two of three CBs learning the trade - one injury prone.
LBs not good enough, back up RB - not good enough
Leon injured
Emnes injured

Bafe & Jeff - not yet played a game in the English leagues

A week and a half to the new season!

I've never known being this much of a shambles since the Petty days but at least that was off the field and players played for us.

But at least Ash got an improved deal and Monk is happy.

PMSL at this....typical comment from someone who have no Knowledge about the swans whatsoever.....I think you need to get down to the fans forum when its on and maybe you might learn a tiny bit from jinx, monk and a few players the actual facts of how we work as a club...<laugh> instead of making comments you know nothing about..<ok>

Midfield - Leon, Jonjo, Ki, Dyer, Routs, Montero, Fulton, Emnes and Gylfi makes our midfield stronger <laugh>

Britton is injured, jonjo unsettled, ki is an unknown factor, dyer, routledge , Montero, gylfi and emnes are not midfielders who will fight for the ball. Fulton is a youth player. Where is your strong midfield? Same argument goes for defence without Chico. And fabianski would be a good 2nd keeper, to push Vorm. But no 1, I doubt it. Hope to be proven wrong...

You are right (as always) Ben, Michu, Vorm Re still here. Bony, Pozuelo, Canas, JdG Jonjo Pablo & Chico are all waiting for a cal up the team v united.

My apologies.

Please enlighten me then to whom we have lost from our midfield that would make us stronger.

Actually, we have Bony, Gomis, Montero, Dyer, Routs, Gylfi Jonjo and Ki but don't let this list cloud your judgement and negativity <ok>

FYI... My parents live about a hundred yards from Jonjo, so give your rumour merchants a big slap for being lying **** stirrers.

Additionally losing Poz is a plus, the guy was rubbish. Our RB back up is the same as last season, our LB was good enough in our first season up so what has changed there dude apart from your disillusion with Laudrup being sacked? Leon and Emnes are not leaving, injuries happen but you carry on and don't make excuses (you guys are good at that aren't you!). If Laudrup signed Jeff and Bafe you'd be masturbating over his face, whilst your want away Ki is negotiating a new deal to stay at Swansea.

In short, rap up and get back in the game. The Laudrup mourning needs to stop because it is getting pathetic.

Am I the only one who is completely fed up with the pessimism and rampant depression on this board?

Am I the only one who is looking forward to the season with optimism? Gomis and Montero are great signings. Ki looks like he's back in the fold. Siggurdson is back and looking hungry. Fabianski looks like he can actually save the occasional shot and catch the occasional cross, unlike Vorm at the end. Neil Taylor looks good for the season. We've shipped out players who were either unfit or moaning or not very good.

Honestly I really don't know why some people bother posting on here, or watching the swans at all. All you do is complain, gripe, have a swipe at Monk, get duped by the utter ***** in the newspapers. Do you really think you're reflecting the views of the real fans?

<applause>

I only got half way down the first page and decided to give up reading the usual negative crap from the usual suspects.

Britton is injured, jonjo unsettled News to the world, where this come from mikki boy, let us know or are you just making it up?, ki is an unknown factor, dyer, routledge, Montero more of an unknown factor than Ki, so again mikki boy, how do you know, gylfi you've not seen him play then? and emnes are not midfielders who will fight for the ball.I know mikki boy, lets go sign Charlie Adams shall we Fulton is a youth player. Where is your strong midfield? All f the above Same argument goes for defence without Chico What, the defence are not strong midfielders? . And fabianski a decent keeper and better than the sulking vorm was last year would be a good 2nd keeper, to push Vorm Vorm wanted a new challenge, why stand in his way. But no 1, I doubt it. Hope to be proven wrong...no you don't

I know you don't want to believe this but all mentioned above, including Jonjo, are quite happy here in little Swansea, so is Bony, and Gomis is too. Grates on you doesn't it Mikra? Go on, prove me wrong.

My sentiments exactly. They can't actually think some of our players like Vorm and Davis would have stayed if Laudrup was still manager, can they?! I mean, would they have really turned down a massive pay hike from Spurs?! <laugh>

Let's be honest here, Ash and Ki wanted out because of that man.

Who gives a toss about .... "and what are we paying, or having to pay, to bring in replacements."

Cash flow does for one -- it's the difference between being solvent or not going into the future. In your opinion ... but you're not putting your money where your mouth is. Nobody is, which is why "we" don't have to care about "... what are we paying, or having to pay, to bring in replacements." However, in reality we should because it is the cavalier attitude to cash flow that got us into the Petty mess and before that brought about the demise of the club following our last period in Division 1 under Toshack.

In real terms, Sig is a something of a known quantity. Montero is not at the Prem level and neither is Gomis. We can expect them to perform to a certain level, but that's not knowing. So far Montero has made full backs of the lower leagues look ridiculous. Let's see that happen against Zabaleta and we'll all be waving flags. Gomis has scored against weaker opposition but what's he going to do against the likes of Kompany. We know what Michu, Bony, Pablo etc can do - they are known quantities and demonstrated quality. If Bony leaves, it will mean a lot is going to be demanded of Gomis.

Are we not the only club in the prem running at a profit. Me thinks the board are doing a fine job yank, maybe maths isn't your strong point but we're actually doing very very very well. Thank you for you comments, they still make me chuckle <ok>

This is for the boys from the Northbank, not those who have jumped on the bandwagon and have never seen the Swans struggle or have a poor season.

"LOUIS van Gaal has told Manchester United that Swansea City is the game to win after their latest pre-season success. United's impressive run of results in their warm-up games continued with a 3-1 triumph over Liverpool. The Old Trafford giants have also beaten Real Madrid, Roma and LA Galaxy this summer, but van Gaal says it is the Premier League opener against Swansea which counts.

"Of course, it is better to win in preparation time than to lose," said the Red Devils boss. "But the most important game is against Swansea City, the first game at home in the Premier League. That, we have to win."

I bet you never thought you'd see the day a Manchester United manager would say that beating the Swans was more important than beating Liverpool, Real Madrid, LA Galaxy and Roma <laugh>

Carry on with the whinging lads.........................................................

Didn't see the guy complaining at Laudrups unknown quantities neither.... Despite Poz, Shecter and Vasquez being huge disasters. They can't think like Swansea fans, because they are Laudrup fans.

LB was ok 3 seasons ago so that's changed.
Leon is injured and not available, so who have we got to take his place? Canas has a couple of shockers nut also did OK there, just OK.
Emnes is regularly injured - good back up when well
Laudrup getting sacked was a poor decision IMO but it was the manner it all happened that disturbed me. Putting Monk in charge disturbed me more and keeping him there disturbs me even more. Evidence suggests that, his answer to anyone who isn't a mate is to get of them; good managers know how to get them on their side .. Suarez last season is a public example as is Rooney. There are many more we would hear nothing about because good managers do their jobs effectively.
As to your sexual behaviour - it's up to you what you do but others are less base.
Have Montero & Gomis started a game in the English leagues? No! They may be great, I really hope they are; but no one knows, not even them, if they will be successful.
Ki is negotiating a new contract and given recent events he and his agent will be fully in charge. Take a look back at the number of times Ki stated he wanted to stay in Sunderland ... not a ringing endorsement of Swansea City.
Hopefully Curt can win back the changing room as he did at the end of last season.
I take your comment about Jonjo as true - obviously better placed to comment.
I shan't rap up or wrap up.

This is going to be a nightmare game for us, he has turned them into a formidable team. What's worse than facing United?

Facing United who are boosted by their first game with a legendary manager who just spent £100M!!!!

The sand is calling you campiion ... if Laudrup wasnt sacked , we had a better chance at both Cups .The exodus wouldnt have happened , simple .

The sand actually called laudrop rj.

Personally I'm very happy with the exodus of laudrops lackies. No more cliques, no more players loaned out on a whim, Ki - Bartley, no more perras patio de la escuela and no more weak management.

Have you thought about leaving too rj, surely there's nothing left for you here now laudrop and his bitches have gone? is there?

You are not the only one campioni, don't feel like that on here.

I'm so excited about the Swans and I'm so excited about next season I just can't stop smiling. The little bitches on here can bitch all they want, but it changes nothing. We are still a model club, we are still playing football at the highest level. We get to see the best teams here in Swansea, we get to go support OUR team in the best cauldrons of football anywhere. Those bitches don't have this feeling, just blind tunnel vision and you know what campioni, I couldn't care less.

I couldn't care less because in two weeks time I'll be at Old Trafford watching Manchester Utd play Swansea City, my Swansea City, in the opening game of the 2014/2015 Premier league season.

That's what we've got campioni, and they don't

Can you feel me laughing, because I am....<laugh>
