And you'd be a great internet forum debate if you weren't so blank - eyed naïve and hopelessly childish when you don't get your way...

Damn, have Bony and Shelvey left?

I doubt anyone at the club wanted to see Ben go, but the Siggurdson deal was too good.

Youve been talking to wife , hope thats all campiion..I know and feel SCFC as good as anyone from a million miles away and have followed them from League 1. I look forward with excitement every year when we play , no matter which league . The last half of lasr season is my lowest point , greatness was snatched from our grasp and the repercussions to start this season are obvious . The team and manager will get all my support , but the board needs to answer questions ........serious questions . The exodus demands it .

Mikra, who's being naive here? Do you believe everything you read in the Daily Mirror?

    No.

Anything that may have gone wrong (or simply may possibly go wrong) is used as stick against the club or as a reason to throw a hissy fit.

It's an uphill battle on here trying to defend the club, board and manager. You'll only get abuse for it from the usual suspects.

It feels more like a Cardiff board on here sometimes.

Bony - same story from multiple sources and no club denial.
Jonjo rumours from the same sources as ones that broke Ben, Pabblo and Michu.

    Just saying

Roofjack, what on earth are you talking about?

"The last half of last season was my lowest point". Complete nonsense.

"Greatness was snatched from our grasp". Complete nonsense.

"The team and manager will get all my support". Really? I must have missed that in your postings.

"The exodus demands it". Complete nonsense.

Are you serious or is this a big wind up?

Well Mikra I do have 2 dogs but no white stick (not needed although I am a bit one eyed when it comes to my beloved Swans). Gomis, Siggy, Montero and Fabianski are not inexperienced novices but all have international caps for their countries. The four who have left did not have great seasons last year and I saw nothing to suggest things would improve this season. It is obvious that some on here are too young to have ever seen the great Ivor Allchurch, whose statue is in front of the Liberty, play in the flesh. Michu wouldn't have been fit to lace up his boots.

All our players are for sale at the right price.

If a ~£20m offer comes in for Bony he'll be gone. No one to blame that's just business.

Difference with the Spanish players is IMO Monk/Huw want them gone irrespective of transfer fees.

Thing is if it was just one of the Spaniards wanting to leave you can understand but once it's all you have to think there's something wrong within the club. There's worries about "eroding the Swansea way". Or do we just not like foreigners? Hernandez apparently wanted to be nearer his kid but he's prepared to be further away by buggering off to Qatar. Chico is not looking to further his career in Qatar. Michu isn't prepared to play for an unknown manager.

To me it seems like absolutely nothing has been done to mend the situation and we've just gone "if you don't want to be here then go cos it's out way or the highway". I'm sure hiring an inexperienced manager only pays off once in a blue moon (a la Martinez) and the board don't see this.

I am eternally grateful to our board for getting us this far but do we think the job is now too big for them? Can someone enlighten me on what business experience they have (pretty sure a few of them failed)? Not multi-million ££s I'm sure. Are they enhancing their own business education or are they continuing in their old ways? We need to be adaptable and professional and I'd like to know the people running the club are on the ball. They've done well so far but how long can it last?

If there wasn't this secrecy over the Laudrup saga I think I'd have more confidence knowing how they handled a difficult situation.

Let's see if the fans forum uncovers anything (which I doubt as they vet the questions).

Much is all about onions but at the moment we are not seeing preferences we are seeing the wholesale dismounting of our team just a few days before facing ManU.

I don't see the wholesale dismantling of the team. Michu and Pozuelo did not feature much in the second half of the season, some preferred Ben to Taylor and vice versa, Vorm had his critics and Pablo was inconsistent. The players coming in are adding to the squad in my view.

£8m for Ben and £20m for Bony are decent prices. If Bony was worth that much then we'd have offers coming from everywhere. Michu was seen as a £25m player before last season, was it a good idea not to sell? The club won't want to make the same mistake.

If the Spanish players were as disruptive as reported then it's a fair shout to get rid.

And, what does that say about the attitude and ability of our manager and chairman?

    Who cares about the cups?

We were on for relegation. Our form had been shocking for the 12 months since we won the Capital One cup.

Laudrup has a proven track record at this. 2 years at a club max, then he buggers off or is sacked. If he was half as good as you think, why is he managing a team in Qatar? Go on, tell me why he wasn't snapped up by Spurs or ManU, or even by West Brom or Fulham?

Are you just upset because a great footballer (but not a very great manager) has left the building?

But Laudrup was planning to leave at the end of last season anyway, so why would the players have hung around if he was gone?
