Anyone going to Bridlington v Hull City XI tonight ? Nice fish n chip shop opposite the ground makes it worth the trip.

Remember going a few years ago and Brown and Duffen were outside having fish and chips with all the fans. Didn't know was tonight might make an appearance

Incidentally, our development squad lost 2-1 to Sheffield Wednesday yesterday. Karim Rossi got our goal.

The Owls Under-21s overcame Hull City 2-1 on a sunny afternoon at Middlewood Road.

Striker Franck Betra fired Wednesday to victory, scoring a double against the Tigers and Lee Bullen was pleased to pick up a win over the Premier League outfit.

He said: “I really enjoyed the game. There were parts when we were second best and parts where we did really well.

“I’m always delighted to get a victory against a Premier League team. With all the facilities and resources that they have, it’s great for our youngsters to come out and get a victory because it was a very young team. "
