Taider could work his way into the first team, but more likely just provide some depth and maybe play in some Cup matches, or at a minimum not punch a teammate in the face. Any of those is a plus over Osvaldo.

Yeah that's what I was thinking. Whatever happens with Taider, he'll contribute more than Osvaldo was going to.

Nah I'm not a Redmond fan at all, really. I'm hoping we bring in Ings, play him as a wide forward until Rodriguez is back (assuming he stays) and then have Ings compete with Pelle in the middle. Tadic on the other side, obviously.

Redmond has skill; as a backup, I'm okay with bringing him in.

Schelotto really has one ability, and that's running very fast. Either he or Mayuka could have some utility in situations where we want to put a track athlete wide and boot balls into space behind high defensive lines, but that's about it.

I've given up on that. Clearly the new regime don't rate him either. I think he'll be Palace colours soon (or West Brom). He has looked sloppy pre-season so he's not doing himself any favours.
