Sorry - been a long day and a flight to Doha - as i was writing before I hit the 'return' key by error - I had never heard of him - so i Googled and got a link to whoscored.com and this is where I picked up the information for last season - including internationals. Compare his stats (I hate stats by the way because they cannot always be representative) with lallana and Morgan - he seems to be off the pace with both. What is weird -I find anyway - but some on this website can quote Football Manager and get away with judging a player on ficticious stats and I quote actual stats and get slated for it - really strange..

Nobody on here has ever taken anyone who uses FM as a source seriously. And yes, of course his stats aren't as good as Lallana's because he's not a playmaking attacking midfielder?! That's like saying "well I like Thiago Silva but he only scored three times this season while Carlton Cole got six, so he's clearly not up to it"
 
What's wrong with him being a squad player, even if he is a backup and hardly ever features, if he is an improvement on us using one of our kids should suspensions and injuries kick in? My only qualm is with people who expect every signing to be challenging for first team in order for us to improve. We are blessed with good CMs so this would never be the case unless we can find a real gem. Apologies if you aren't one of them. We've been saying for years that our team needs added depth, how often did our bench look unattractive last season? If he improves the cover we can offer in CM, then it's worth it. Especially as we can be rid of Dani!

If we needed any further confirmation Di Marzio has tweeted to say medical and signature done today. Taider will be presented formally tomorrow to the media. Still no mention from him on Schelotto
