It was a bad performance all round. Livermore got stuck in, Elmo made some decent runs and McGregor was steady and that was about it for our staring 11. We looked to have more pace and dynamism when Brady and Snodgrass came on. It wasn't a good performance, but I thoroughly enjoyed the trip.
brady was out... I take it your on about ince ! And according to burns reporting bruce was one of the stand out players, funny how opinions differ !
Back on track on the transfer rumours and bizarrely Brighton appear to be interested in Nick Proschwitz. Here's hoping
That was pretty much my response when a Brighton fan mentioned it to me today...to be fair though he is usually pretty spot on with matters Brighton.
The Mirror are linking us with Stoke's Geoff Cameron... http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/footb...et-sights-stokes-3949939#.U9wK1JFK-O4.twitter
I was thinking, as you do, now that Liverpool have signed Lovren that gives them a wealth of CB's. Agger, Skrtyl, Toure, Sakho, Coates as well as Lovren. I'd take Martin Kelly off them on loan or for cheaper than Dawson £2.5-3 million. He's going to get zero game time there and has showed a lot of promise. Only 24, 6'3 and very capable.
I can't believe this. Cameron is crap and was clueless for the US in the World Cup giving up key goals with his defensive blunders. He was probably the poorest American defender out there. Gonzalez for one has twice the ability of Cameron and would probably be available at a far cheaper price. Cameron would be a disaster at RB....CH or RW forget it!!! I don't believe the Mirror story for a minute.
There's absolutely no way bruce was the best player on the pitch, no chance at all. That's just a bit of burnsy brown nosing. He should be sold if anyone's offering money, he's just not good enoug.
